The phenomenal scientist "received thirteen honorary degrees" and focused his studies and publications on the laws governing the universe. This is according to hawking.org.uk.
Professor Hawking developed ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), a degenerative disease which adversely affects the neurons in the brain and spinal cord.
Despite his adversity, Mr. Hawking did not let this hinder his will to persevere, continue his studies, enjoy life, or motivate others. Through using different forms of assistive technology (AT), Professor Hawking was able to convey his significant research, vociferous nature, and
witty sense of humor. AT utilized to facilitate sharing of his research, memorable quote, and informative speeches include the computer-based communication system has been sponsored and provided by Intel® Corporation, .
