As a seasoned public speaker and strategist, he delves into various topics including commerce and brand awareness, retail go-to-market strategies, DEI commerce transformation, shopper marketing, customer experiences, the consumerization of healthcare, and fostering diverse, inclusive, cross-functional teams. His proficiency extends to global commerce leadership, leveraging first-party retailer data for sales, and providing advisory support for global retail health commerce initiatives. Stewart. ’90.  Dianne, originally from Kingston, Jamaica, currently holds the prestigious position of Samuel Candler Dobbs Professor of Religion and African American Studies at Emory University. One of her notable achievements includes the inception of the acclaimed course "Black Love." Her academic contributions have garnered recognition through numerous awards and fellowships, including the esteemed Emory College of Arts and Sciences 2021-2022 Chronos Faculty Fellowship. After Colgate, she earned her MDiv from Harvard Divinity School and her PhD in systematic theology from Union Theological Seminary in New York City. Her scholarly pursuits extend beyond borders, encompassing research endeavors in Trinidad, Jamaica, and a multitude of other nations across Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. She has shared her expertise through lectures and research activities in diverse locales such as the Democratic Republic of Congo, Nigeria, Brazil, and many others. During her time at Colgate, she actively engaged in various student organizations, including a DJ on WRCU via NightFlight and Sojourners, while also fulfilling the role of Resident Advisor for two years. She obtained her B.A. degree from Colgate University in English and African American Studies.

As a recipient of the NIH Dissertation Award, she boasts a background in the biotechnology sector, focusing her research on the molecular intricacies of learning, memory, and neurodegeneration. Passionate about bridging health disparities and promoting inclusivity in academia, she pursued her doctoral studies at The Scripps Research Institute after completing her undergraduate degree at Colgate University. Additionally, she holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Connecticut. Her academic journey also included research stints at esteemed institutions such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the Joslin Diabetes Center. During her time at Colgate, she actively engaged in various student organizations, including AASA and Sojourners, while also fulfilling the role of Resident Advisor for two years. Prior to his current position, he held roles at Eaton, Emron, and also was in the Judge Advocate General's Corps. Following his undergraduate studies at Colgate University, he joined the Marine Corps and then earned a Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School. While at Colgate, he served as President of the Black Student Union during his senior year and actively engaged in campus activities. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate.

A seasoned consultant proficient in Nonprofit Organizations, Budgeting, Policy Analysis, Program Evaluation, and Strategic Planning. Prior to his current position, he held roles such as Performance Oversight Associate with the New York State Education Department’s Charter Schools Office and Director of the Office of Parent Partnerships for the NYC Department of Education. Following his undergraduate studies at Colgate University, he earned a Master’s in Education Administration from Michigan University and a Master’s in Management & Urban Policy from The New School. During his time at Colgate, he was elected Student Vice President and played a pivotal role in launching the student newspaper, The Prism. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate in History.

24 FEB. 2024 · Alvin and German conduct a great conversation with Broward College Professor, Robert Morris Jr., ’95, ’97. As a college Social Science professor, he delivers lectures and provides mentorship both within academia and through his non-profit, South Florida Village. Through this organization, he collaborates with community leaders to offer college readiness programs and mentoring support to students in Miami-Dade and Broward counties. Committed to advancing social justice, he actively works to dismantle barriers that threaten democracy. Post-Colgate, he pursued further education, earning a Masters in Business Administration from American Intercontinental University and a Doctorate in Leadership and Education with a specialization in Exceptional Student Education from Barry University. During his time at Colgate, he made history by becoming the first African American elected as Student Government Association Vice-President, following a successful freshman year. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in History and African/Latin American Studies in 1995, and later obtained his Masters of Arts in Teaching in Secondary School Social Studies in 1997.

21 OCT. 2023 · Alvin and German conduct a great conversation with New York State Certified Pest Management Professional, Naceo Giles.’70. With several decades of experience in pest management within the greater New York City area, Mr. Giles has dedicated his career to recruiting and training workers based on the belief that pest management is essential and beneficial. Throughout his four years as an undergraduate and six years as an administrator, he was focused on identifying and establishing the necessary support and nurturing environment to sustain a diverse community. During his student years, his activism, along with the efforts of other students, directly contributed to the establishment of Colgate's Cultural Center. In addition to his academic pursuits, Mr. Giles was also an active student athlete, participating on the basketball team, and ultimately earning his Bachelor of Arts degree.

A dedicated health professional, went to State University Of NY Upstate Medical University and has years of diverse experience. She is big believer in wellness and self-care. She also loves the theater. While at Colgate he was a Resident Advisor, a dramatic artist, and received her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Theater.

With an extensive career spanning decades in the healthcare industry, David manages a healthcare and public health consulting firm, addressing multifaceted challenges in business operations, patient/client engagement, Covid-19 mitigation, and organizational strategy. His expertise benefits a wide spectrum of clients, including organizations, municipalities, and federal entities. Following his time at Colgate University, David earned a Master's in Public Health in Healthcare Management and Public Health Policy and Administration at the University of Michigan School of Public Health. During his years at Colgate, David participated in football and baseball as a student athlete. Additionally, he was actively involved in WRCU and played a leadership role in WeFunk. His academic journey at Colgate culminated in the attainment of a Bachelor of Arts degree, with a dual concentration in Sociology and Pre-Medical Studies.
