17 NOV. 2024 · During the birth of her second child, Kathy’s labor went awry, and she felt herself leave her body, unable to alert anyone. She entered a dark, painful space that felt like purgatory but had a moment of clarity, realising she would endure anything for her baby’s safety. This thought pulled her backward, crossing a still, black lake toward a bright light. There, loving voices asked her life’s purpose, and she felt an overwhelming love that connected all existence. Offered choices for reincarnation, she sensed a point of no return and chose to stop. Kathy returned to her body with knowledge of her son’s birth, instructing the doctor to deliver by forceps, which he did successfully.

The patient recalls a profound experience, describing an encounter with a divine, all-encompassing light and two radiant beings. Just as she was nearing a state of panic, the need for air vanished, and she felt her consciousness free, floating in an expanse like deep space. She reflected on her life, realizing that her identity as "Pam" was merely a role, like a game piece. This revelation filled her with joy, as she recognized her true self as the timeless "I Am," beyond ego and earthly concerns.
Turning her awareness outward, Pam perceived an immensely bright, loving Light—God—radiating a profound, unconditional love and joy at her return. In this ecstatic moment, she felt enveloped by the universe’s love and welcomed home. Just then, she thought of her family and felt an overwhelming need to share this experience. Instantly, she found herself back in her body, overcome by an intense, whole-body feeling of love and bliss.
This experience transformed Pam’s perspective on life and spirituality. She now perceives herself as a part of the divine Whole, with God's presence accessible within every moment. She describes life as a gift, a means to return to God, who is not distant but always present. This realization of boundless love and unity redefines her understanding of heaven as a state within, accessible when we embrace God's love and let go of ego-based limitations.
