14 ENE. 2022 · Dr. Amit Goswami is a retired professor of physics from the University of Oregon. While researching the area of quantum physics, he discovered that when quantum physics is formulated within the metaphysics of qualified non-dualism, as in Indian Vedanta, questions regarding meaning are immediately resolved. His work thus integrates science and spirituality. This work has culminated in his most recent book with the physician Valentina Onisor, Quantum Spirituality.
In 2009, he started a movement called "quantum activism," which continues to gain ground. In 2018, together with his collaborators, he established Quantum Activism Vishwalayam, an institution of transformative education in India, based on quantum science and the primacy of consciousness.
Dr. Goswami is the author of numerous books, most notably: The Self-Aware Universe, Physics of the Soul, and God is Not Dead. He was featured in the movie What the Bleep Do We Know!? and the documentaries Dalai Lama Renaissance and The Quantum Activist.

11 NOV. 2016 · Andrew Newberg, MD, director of research at the Myrna Brind Center for Integrative Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, is one of a new breed of "neurotheologians" studying the intersections among our brains, religion, philosophy, and spirituality.
Dr. Andrew Newberg is a neuroscientist who studies the relationship between brain function and various mental states. He is a pioneer in the neurological study of religious and spiritual experiences, a field known as “neurotheology.” His research includes taking brain scans of people in prayer, meditation, rituals, and trance states, in an attempt to better understand the nature of religious and spiritual practices and attitudes.
Dr. Newberg is the director of research at the Jefferson Myrna Brind Center of Integrative Medicine and a physician at Jefferson University Hospital. While working 9 to 5, Erin Bagwell felt the doldrums of corporate America eating away at her soul. But outside of work, she poured her heart into telling the stories of inspiring women on her blog, Feminist Wednesday. With a lifelong dream to make a feature length film, Erin realized she could combine her two passions by making a documentary about the amazing women she was meeting.
