Covid-19 was wrecking havoc with the world of endurance sports and he was hoping to put a coalition of endurance sports leaders together to see if they could combine forces to get some government support for an industry that has been devastated by the Pandemic. I reached out to Rich Harshbarger at Running USA and Rocky Harris at USA Triathlon to get the ball rolling and things have been moving at warp speed ever since. Joe came on the show to chat about the creation of the Endurance Sports Coalition which represents over 475 organizations, 50,000 events and 30 million Americans. It’s nice to see what can come out of one five minute phone call! -
