Helen Simms is one of the most passionate teachers I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. She invited me in to her school to work with selected classes of children & because of her love & engagement for what she does, it was one of the best experiences in a school I've ever had.
We talk a lot about what makes a good teacher (some great advice for NQT's) and how the education system needs have a facelift or morph itself to find better outcomes for students & teachers.
It's a pleasure talking to someone who absolubtly belongs join the position they're in!

Jamie’s battle with alcohol can truly inspire & save lives - from the gruelling horror stories to his final destination at AA, it’s time we faced this disease head on!

Dathan Horridge AKA Shrusic (his musical stage name) had just come fresh out of rehab! the day before the podcast he was discharged and motivated to tell his tenacious tales of struggle and breakthroughs!
For anyone struggling with alcoholism, please speak to Dathan or anyone who has found their escape from the terrible illness of addiction - you'll find him on @shrusic on all social platforms his music is also massively worth a watch so look for Shrusic on Youtube

Thank you so much to everyone involved - I love you all and I’ve grown so much as a person from every encounter - some humbling / learning on the the spot and developing my ability to communicate with a variety of people
Today’s episode feels perfectly fitting to be the 100th episode for many reasons to me - for the long term listeners, I feel this episode truthfully captures what I’ve always wanted the podcast to be!
