I got the chance to catch up with country superstar Jake Owen, who is headed back to Virginia, bringing his Dreams to Dream Tour to the historic Paramount Theater in Charlottesville on Friday, February 27 at 7:30 PM. With a career built on sunshine melodies, heartfelt storytelling, and a charisma that’s equal parts beach‑breeze easy and arena‑ready electric, Owen’s upcoming stop promises to be one of the most anticipated country shows of 2026.Owen’s résumé reads like the soundtrack of the past decade and a half of country radio: 10 No. 1 singles, multiple gold and platinum hits, and more than 2.5 billion on‑demand streams. Songs like “Barefoot Blue Jean Night,” “Beachin’,” “Anywhere With You,” “Alone With You,” and “The One That Got Away” have cemented him as a mainstay—an artist who brings people together in that signature Jake Owen way: laid‑back, high‑energy, and full of heart. But what makes this tour special—something Owen opened up about in our conversation—is that it’s not just a collection of hits. It’s a reflection of where he is right now: as an artist, a businessman, a philanthropist, and a dad.
