Tonya Davis found herself having to adapt to the realities of the hood. Tonya received a drastic wake-up call when she became the daughter-n-law of Tookie Williams- Founder of Crips Gang. Tonya had a strenuous life, she overcame many obstacles, sexual abuse, and domestic violence, were she was stabbed by her Ex-husband and left homeless. Tonya overcame her struggles and started a new beginning of Life. She attended & graduated from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California with a degree as a Lab Technician. She tackled the medical field for a few years, and then decided to change the paste in her life. She decided to launch her own first African American digital Magazine “Black Hollywood News Magazine” which began her success in 2008. 2 OCT. 2022 · Mark Heathco was born and raised in North Hollywood, California, went to North Hollywood High school, and played football for the North Hollywood Huskies In 1978.  He joined the Army and went to Basic and advanced training at Fort Benning. Upon completion, his assignment was to South Korea, where he served in the 2ND Infantry Division from 1978 to 1991 with nine rotations to the Demilitarized Z or the DMZ. He had 385 patrols inside the DMZ. Mark now resides in Xenia, Ohio, with his family and writes books about his encounters with the North Koreans inside the DMZ, the U.S. Sector. 21 AGO. 2022 · Russell Vann is a freelance writer that began writing his memoirs in 2013. He was born in the South Bronx and lived there for the majority of his life. His two books, Ghetto Bastard and Ghetto Bastard 2 both reached #1 on Amazon.  The third book in the series, Ghetto Bastard III was released in 2019. He attended Cardinal Hayes High School for two years and then Howard Taft High School for one year. As he didn’t graduate, he attended a program where he worked and took classes so that he could get his G.E.D. In later years he took Computer Science College courses. His work background includes hard labor, Corrections and being a Caregiver. He has often held two jobs at a time to provide for his family. His great-grandmother was the biggest influence in his life because she raised him. She gave him his great sense of family where other members of his family failed him. As a young boy just entering manhood, he ran the streets and had his share of trouble but always learned from the mistakes he made. His love life was no different. He made a lot of mistakes there too. Fortunately, he finally got it right and married the love of his life. 24 ABR. 2022 · I am an African American woman, the last of seven children. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and proud to be a three-time grandmother and a mother of four. I have a great passion for writing words that can change the course of a lost soul. It gives me great pleasure to say I'm an inspirational published author and public speaker with a clear message of hope. My published works include: Several articles, A COVID:19 Natural Strategies book, Volume-1 of a seven-series novelette book based on my life titled- “A Letter To God.” This incredible, gripping tale will have you on the edge of your seat, and no doubt leave you wanting more.
