  • Carly Ann Taylor | Changing My Story

21 JUN. 2024 · Featuring six tracks, each song on Changing My Story is a chapter of Taylor’s life of coming from brokenness and abandonment to finding healing, hope, and salvation in Jesus. The EP begins with “Saved My Soul,” an impactful song about how Jesus redeemed her life. The record continues with “Your Beauty,” a song about the brighter side of her story, and “Sunrise,” a soulful track about how Taylor has found herself in Jesus. Halfway through the EP, the lyrics shift from introspection to encouragement for Taylor’s listeners. “Drift Away” is an encouragement to anyone who feels tired from the storms of life, and was written for her family during a season of loss. “I wanted to write a song that would comfort my family,” said Taylor. “But it’s also a song for people going through difficult things. They can trust that God’s not going to let them drift away. He’s going to stay close to them.” As the EP continues to journey through Taylor’s life, “Runnin’ (The Assignment)” focuses on the future, expressing that time and attention are the only way to see what God has in store for her. The EP concludes with “Here I Am,” featuring Hopeful., the band her half-brother Randy fronts. For Taylor, having her brother sing on the last track felt like a full-circle moment. “On the first track, ‘Saved My Soul,’ I envision myself on my break, getting that call from Randy. That was basically the beginning of God changing my story,” said Taylor. “It’s all wrapped up with Randy singing with me on ‘Here I Am’ as I surrender my life to Jesus.” Carly Ann Taylor will continue to share her story through music and plans to write and record more songs this summer. Until then, stay up-to-date on her music by following her on Instagram. For more information and to listen to Changing My Story, visit CarlyAnnTaylor.com.

10 ABR. 2023 · Parents of special needs children often struggle to find faith-based help or resources. This is because there is a lack of understanding and awareness about special needs in the faith community. Many churches and religious organizations do not have the resources or expertise to support families with special needs. As a result, parents may feel isolated and alone. There are a number of reasons why parents of special needs children struggle to find faith-based help or resources. One reason is that many churches and religious organizations do not have the resources or expertise to support families with special needs. These organizations may not have staff who are trained in special needs, or they may not have the financial resources to provide specialized programs or services. Another reason why parents of special needs children struggle to find faith-based help or resources is that there is a lack of understanding and awareness about special needs in the faith community. Many people in the faith community may not know how to interact with or support families with special needs. As a result, parents may feel judged or ostracized by their church or religious community. The lack of faith-based help or resources can have a significant impact on families with special needs. Parents may feel isolated and alone, and they may not have the support they need to cope with the challenges of raising a child with special needs. In addition, children with special needs may not have the opportunity to participate in faith-based activities that would help them to grow in their faith. There are a number of things that can be done to address the challenges that parents of special needs children face in finding faith-based help or resources. One thing that can be done is to raise awareness about special needs in the faith community. This can be done through education and training programs, as well as through public awareness campaigns. Another thing that can be done is to provide more resources and support for families with special needs. This can include providing financial assistance, training and support for staff, and developing specialized programs and services. Finally, it is important to create a more welcoming and inclusive environment for families with special needs in the faith community. This can be done by educating church members about special needs, providing opportunities for families with special needs to participate in faith-based activities, and creating a culture of acceptance and understanding. #SpecialNeedsChristian

  • Life After Death | Christian Music Magazine

30 MAR. 2023 · Trusting God through hard times is one of the most important things we can do as Christians. It is not always easy, but it is essential for our spiritual growth and development. Here are a few tips on how to trust God through hard times: 1. **Spend time in prayer and Bible study.** When we spend time in prayer and Bible study, we are reminded of God's promises and His faithfulness. We also learn more about who He is and how He loves us. This can help us to trust Him even when things are tough. 2. **Talk to God about your struggles.** God is always willing to listen to us, even when we are feeling angry, scared, or confused. He wants us to come to Him with our problems and ask for His help. 3. **Look for evidence of God's work in your life.** Even in the midst of hard times, God is still working. He is often working through the people around us or through the circumstances of our lives. When we look for evidence of God's work, it can help us to trust Him more. 4. **Remember that God is in control.** Even when things seem out of control, God is still in control. He has a plan for our lives, and He will never abandon us. 5. **Hold on to hope.** Hope is one of the most powerful things we can have in hard times. When we have hope, it gives us the strength to keep going. Hope is also a reminder that God is not finished with us yet. Trusting God through hard times is not always easy, but it is worth it. When we trust God, we are able to find peace and strength in the midst of our struggles. We are also able to experience God's love and faithfulness in a deeper way. #ChristianMusicMagazine #LifeAfterDeath
