30 MAR. 2020 · It's week three of my personal Quarantine, and I'm in your podcast feeds by way of my partner's closet in New West with a new episode. Listen in for snippets of a band my dad was in in 1980, new music from White Poppy, and me talking about how much I love Carla from Bon Appetit Test Kitchen.
23 MAR. 2020 · This week's episode features a montage of voice memos from my friends about life in quarantine, with music by White Poppy. I talk about organizations that could really use your donations right now, please give generously if you are able to!

And finally, I play songs from artists who released music during Bandcamp's initiative to pay artists 100% of profits from music sales.
Take care everyone, xx
16 MAR. 2020 · Well my dears, we're stuck. COVID-19 has got the world on lock-down. I asked you, dear listeners and followers, which songs make you feel nice. So, this episode is chock full of niceness to soothe your worried minds. When I recorded this, I had a cold, but have since recovered.
Take care out there, call your Grandma, take a walk, and breath deep. We'll get through this!
xx - Madeline
9 MAR. 2020 · Disco F*cks!
You've probably heard the phrase "disco sucks!" thrown around when people start talking about disco or macho rock culture from the 70's. Disco is rooted in black and latinx culture and music, and was huge in gay nightclubs, so, the hatred of disco was wrapped up in racism and homophobia. This hour, I wanted to offer a shout out to disco new and old! Cause Disco F*cks!

2 MAR. 2020 · It's Pisces season, everyone's favourite month of cry time! Stay dry out there, pals.
25 FEB. 2020 · Local pop icon Non La's new record 'Not In Love' dropped on your aunt's favourite holiday, February 14th! I invited DJ On to the show to share a playlist of inspo.
11 FEB. 2020 · If you've been following the news in Canada in the last few weeks, there are solidarity actions taking place all across the country in solidarity with the dismantling of Uni'stot'en camps, and arrest of Indigenous Land Protectors on unceded territory.
Diversify your news sources. Talk to those on the front lines. Show up for Indigenous Land Defenders.
It is also CiTR's annual Fundrive! The reason we're able to talk about these issues freely is our independent media status, which we need your help to maintain. Please support at citr.ca/donate
4 FEB. 2020 · There! Is! No! Time!
It's busy y'all!
Here's a playlist that makes me feel better. Hopefully it makes you feel better too.
20 ENE. 2020 · The Golden Age of Wrestling is the newest project from local pop icon Jeff Cancade, AKA Devours. This hour The Golden Age of Wrestling takes us on a spacey journey through his ambient influences.
7 ENE. 2020 · This episode is dedicated to the memory of Elissa Barclay. This is an excerpt from a letter written by her sister, Adèle Barclay in the Elissa Barclay Memorial Fund GoFundMe: https://ca.gofundme.com/f/elissa-barclay-memorial-fund
"Music saved my life and my sister's life when we were young teens growing up in small town Ontario. I want to make the life-affirming experience of music available to as many youth as possible.
Since Girls Rock Camp is a Registered Non-Profit and not a Registered Charity, I (Adèle Barclay) will collect the funds and make the donation in Elissa's name in February 2020. Please join me honouring the memory of my dear sister and helping the young ones make the music they need to make to live."
RIP Elissa, Nov. 7, 1980 ~ Nov. 20, 2019
