11 DIC. 2020 · This is more just a quick heads up that for Day 8 I am taking a break to recollect my creative thoughts before starting the assigned challenge from the Writer's HQ - which just so happens to involve writing about waiting! Tomorrow's story is going to be involving our friend Pokiki and picking up where we left off, I encourage you to listen to Days 5 and 6 to catch up before listening to tomorrows! See you then!
10 DIC. 2020 · Day 7 of the Writer's HQ advent writing challenge was a little bit different than the previous ones. Today I was given the task to find a random paragraph and to dissect it for all that it is. I invite you to join me as I dissect a powerful paragraph from Markus Zusak's "The Book Thief."

8 DIC. 2020 · Welcome to Day 5 of the Writer's HQ advent challenge. In today's podcast we delve into the darker side of a character where moral, societal and ethical boundaries are no longer the guiding force.
Today's challenge was the perfect opportunity to further flush out my Dungeons and Dragon's character, Pokiki. I'll let the story introduce you to her.

7 DIC. 2020 · Today's advent challenge from Writer's HQ involved taking a concept or idea and breaking the concept down with a mixture of "why" questions and answers. I rewrote this challenge a couple of times, not really happy with either direction.
Words started to rhyme so I let it flow and pushed out a poem. The poem that came out from this challenge questions a friend we are born with; a friend that stays with us until the very end and beyond: our shadow.
5 DIC. 2020 · Today's writing challenge from Writer's HQ was to look at a assigned photo and to spend some time really looking at the photo. The goal was to find the text, subtext and subtext of the subtext within the photo.
My eyes kept going back to the statue and I wanted to know what he would say if we were to sit and have a conversation with him.
