14 NOV. 2024 · When we hit our limits, that's when we really find out who we are. I’m super intrigued by what it takes to push yourself and the insights you gain along the way. This throwback episode features ultra runner Phil Gore, who just became the World Backyard Ultra Champion (a title that has been beaten since then).
He completed a mind-blowing 102 laps of 6.7 km each, running for 102 hours straight without stopping. Since then, Phil has gone on to compete overseas in the Backyard Ultra World Championships and recently helped Australia snag second place in the World Backyard Ultra Team Championships. In this episode, we dive into the world of Backyard Ultras and unpack what it's like to run for days on end without a break.

The first blossoms opened this morning on our cherry tree. She is the Grand-dam of all our fruit trees, and her blossoms signal the beginning of the blossom cascade. We will be swimming in a sea of bees, blossoms, and perfume by next week.) Katie would make my heart smile each morning, so I had to get her on the show. We explore how she found herself focussing her career on the brain-changing benefits of exercise, her greatest mentor and, of course, her new book, Good Anxiety.
