Dr. Young came in to talk about the Central Michigan Recovery Education Network (CMREN), including what additional resources have been provided to the recovery community in the 10 years since CMREN started. He also talked about ways CMREN wants to extend their footprint if additional funding becomes available.
16 AGO. 2026 · Scott and Mike are joined by Chandler Fleming, counselor at Clarkston Lighthouse Counseling in Clarkston, MI. Chandler discussed his work, his early experience with a higher power than himself, and how he brings that to his life today to be useful and helpful to others.
9 AGO. 2026 · Scott and Mike are joined by Kara from Reach The Forgotten Jail Ministry. Kara talked about her 40-year involvement with the recovery community, what led her to sobriety, and what she's doing now with the ministry.
2 AGO. 2026 · Scott and Mike are joined by LaRae and Amy from the Street Angels RC. They talked about the fundraiser they organized that's taking place August 8, 2026 to benefit the surviving son of two parents who were killed by a suspected drunk driver in June 2026. They also discussed the camaraderie in the Street Angels and some other events they're involved with.
