4 MAY. 2022 · In the previous chapter I presented in general the influence of three economist of Cambridge University, Marshall, Keynes and Hawtrey in the book The Joyless Economics of Scitovsky, and in particular I analized the idea of creative goods in this four authors. I used extensively the paper “At the origin of the notion of “creative goods” in economics: Scitovsky and Hawtrey” of Antonio Bariletti and Eleonora Sanfilippo:, published in April, 2015. in this episode I will answer the question in relation to Maslow and the creative goods. Schumpeter has a vision of innovation from the supply side, without mentioning the behavior of innovation consumers. However, we must remember that Schumpeter is the father of studies on innovation in economic theory and his influence is determining on evolutionary economics.
