We hear this all the time, and we really wanted to address this here in the podcast because this mindset won't take you very far. Having the mindset of waiting for the perfect time or waiting for life to get better before starting your journey is pretty normal, believe me. I see and hear this all the time with some of my clients and women that I talk to on social media. But where has this mindset gotten you? Are you where you want to be? Most likely not, right? Why? Simply because that perfect moment will never arrive. If you cannot work around it when life throws challenges at you, you will simply never make fitness a part of your lifestyle. Think about it this way: Do you call your power provider and put it on hold when you go on a three-week vacation or when work gets too stressful? Probably not because you still need that power at home no matter what is going on in your life. It's the exact same with fitness. Levana and I worked together for about 4 months, or a little bit longer. Before she joined my program, I clearly remember how she told me about her anxiety regarding using different areas at the gym and how her overthinking mindset was holding her back from doing the things she wanted to do. She specifically mentioned to me, "I hated myself for not doing the things I should be doing. I know that I am better than this," but the voice in her mind was holding her back. Four months into my program, Levana now has this amazing confidence to work out anywhere in the gym. She's been working so hard, and the results she is getting are just amazing. Yesterday, I celebrated my birthday—my 29th birthday, which still seems CRAZY to me. Twenty-nine years of experience on earth, so this episode is about that. I talk and share about four of the biggest lessons I have learned throughout my life.     14 ABR. 2024 · In today's Podtalks with Richu, we discuss a topic that we feel very strongly about, and we believe that this message needs to be heard. Time and time again, we encounter people who need to embark on their fitness journey, not only to feel good in their own skin but also for serious health reasons. However, these individuals often do nothing about it. Richu and I are deeply concerned about this issue, as we continually witness how some people prefer to remain in their comfort zone and rely on medications rather than taking action. It's difficult for me to understand why some individuals choose to wait for the perfect moment to start their fitness journey, knowing that this moment may never arrive. However, something my mom once told me has provided a different perspective: Often, when people face such problems, they become blinded and refuse to see reality. It's similar to falling in love with the wrong person; everyone else can see the truth except for the person involved because of their emotional attachment. My mom's explanation resonated deeply with me, and I sincerely hope that by spreading our message daily, we can gradually help more people avoid relying on medications and start taking their health more seriously.
