Dr. Preston Rich is a proud Christian, father, veteran, speaker, educator, author, transformational leadership consultant, coach, and entrepreneur in Frisco, TX. He served over 10 years in the United States Air Force which included two tours in support of Operation Desert Storm. His diverse background has provided him with over 30 years of leadership experience in five separate industries. Dr. Rich currently imparts knowledge to business management and cybersecurity students at Parker University in the Dallas metroplex. His engaging, Socratic style has earned him the distinction as a “professor of choice” among the business student population on all campuses where he has taught. Dr. Rich is dedicated to positively impacting people by teaching them how to become transformational in all aspects of their personal and professional lives.

12 JUN. 2020 · The world has witnessed a major acceleration in the demand to end police brutality against Blacks sparked by the killing of yet another Black man, George Floyd at the hands of the Minneapolis Police Department. Four officers have now been brought up on criminal charges to answer for this senseless murder. What hope do people have to change the narrative if the very organization that has the responsibility to protect and serve has enjoyed the non-consequential practice of killing Blacks as if they are not people? Believe it or not, Black lives do matter. Join Dr. Rich; as for part 2 of his three part series, he hosts a panel of three Black parents to gain their insight and perspective on the current state of affairs and the fears parents have about the future for their young and adult Black children.

When we are raised in a monolithic environment with no exposure to different ways of life, we tend to think that the world resembles our own. Looking at the world through another's lens is the best way to become a critical thinker thereby making better decisions and living your best life. Listen to Dr. Rich explain three concepts of critical thinking that; if followed, will help you change your thinking to change your life. 3 ABR. 2020 · Let's face it, the Coronavirus has changed the world and we will get though this just like nations have gotten through pandemics in 1720 from the Bubonic Plague, 1820 from Cholera, and in 1920 from the Spanish Flu. Every hundred years the world goes through this and comes out better for it as we learn more about the previously unknown enemy. How will YOU get through this change to your life? The kids are home and you are the teacher. Your job is gone, your sports are gone, the bar is gone, and you have to deal with your loved ones face to face. You will only get through this with positive thinking and emotional intelligence. Remember that your thoughts become your words, become your actions, become your habits, become your character, becomes your destiny. 27 MAR. 2020 · The Coronavirus Crisis has forced leaders to prove their mettle. The new reality of working from home has hit some leaders like a ton of bricks. Some will come out of this better leaders and some will not be in leadership positions for too much longer. Transactional leadership has its place in some workplaces, but the majority of today's workforce needs leaders to be transformational. The Coronavirus has exposed a lot of leaders who may need to take a class in what it means to truly lead others or step away from their leadership positions. Titles don't make leaders, people do.

23 MAR. 2020 · Too many times employees stay in a toxic work environment because the employer has brainwashed them into thinking that they should be lucky to be getting paid. NEVER! You should never stay in any work environment that is toxic where employees feel that they can treat you any way they want because they pay the employee. I urge you to reevaluate your work environment; especially while you are working from home because of the Coronavirus, and look to leave if your environment is toxic.
