Hello, this is Gail Nobles from EPS. I have an old recording from Swellcast where I shared my thoughts on how I'd love to see Michael Jordan join the Big3 league. I received some feedback on the podcast—one listener mentioned they were unfamiliar with the Big3 and would like to check it out, while another expressed excitement about the possibility of Michael Jordan and other players joining the league. Unfortunately, the podcast was removed since the hosting company has gone out of business. Therefore, I've decided to revisit the topic and share a replay of the podcast. The Big3 basketball league is another sport that has gained attention. It ought to be as big as the NBA with professional players playing half court. I’d like to see Michael Jordan come back to see how well he would do. It would certainly draw plenty of attention….. All about sports.

St. Paul Saints Named Most Talented Team in Minor Leagues for 2026
As of April 2026, the St. Paul Saints stand out as the top team in all of minor league baseball for pure talent.
The Saints, the Triple-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins, open the season with the most loaded roster in the minors. They have four players ranked among the top 100 prospects in baseball. Key stars include outfielder Walker Jenkins and shortstop Kaelen Culpepper, along with Emmanuel Rodriguez.
Baseball America, a leading source for prospect rankings, calls the Saints the clear No. 1 team right now. Their strong group of young players comes from the Twins’ deep farm system.
Not far behind are the Midland RockHounds, the Double-A team for the Athletics. They are getting notice for their high-level talent at that step up from the lower minors.
Last year, in 2025, the Iowa Cubs were ranked as the most stacked minor league team. They had five top-100 prospects, according to http://mlb.com/.
Minor league talent can change fast. Top players often get promoted to the major leagues during the season. Even so, experts say the Saints are the early leader for 2026 thanks to the Twins’ strong pipeline of future big-leaguers. Fans in St. Paul could be watching some of baseball’s brightest young stars this summer.

NBL Championship Series: 36ers Edge Out Kings in Thrilling Finish
In recent news from the NBL, basketball fans have been buzzing about a nail-biting game between the Adelaide 36ers and the Sydney Kings. The match ended with the 36ers narrowly defeating the Kings 91 to 89, with an unforgettable last two minutes.
As the clock ticked down, Bryce Cotton made headlines by scoring for the 36ers with an impressive drive to the basket, bringing the score to 91-89 36ers. The excitement in the arena was noticeable, but things heated up even more after the final buzzer. Hello everyone, I’m Gail Nobles, and this is your In the News Sports update.
Tom Brady, the famous quarterback, is shaking things up in the world of flag football. He's been thinking about how to make flag football even more exciting and is suggesting that it should look more like tackle football. During a recent discussion, Brady mentioned his idea of setting up a game featuring teams from the NFC and AFC, where some of the top flag football players could join in. He believes this mix could really bring in a new level of excitement to the game!
Flag football is becoming quite popular these days, and it’s easy to see why. Just the other day, I watched my first NFL flag football game, and it was a lot of fun! The fast pace and teamwork make it enjoyable for both players and fans.
With Brady's ideas and the rising popularity of the sport, it looks like flag football could be heading for bigger and better things. Be sure to stay tuned for more updates on this exciting development in sports!

In the world of basketball, we’ve had the ABA and the NBA, but now there's an exciting new league: the BIG3. This unique league, founded by rapper Ice Cube, features some incredible players who have made their mark on the game.
The BIG3 has showcased many talented athletes, including some familiar faces from the NBA. Notable players like Michael Beasley, Joe Johnson, and Reggie Evans stand out as the greatest in this league's history.
Michael Beasley, who played for Miami 305, has been a powerhouse on the court. He was the back-to-back MVP for the 2024 and 2025 seasons, averaging an impressive 23.1 points per game. His scoring ability has made him a standout star in the BIG3.

Hello, I'm Gail Nobles. Today's topic: Barry Sanders. A football legend on EPS.
In the world of football, few names shine as brightly as Barry Sanders. The former running back, who played for the Detroit Lions in the NFL for ten spectacular seasons, is often celebrated as one of the greatest players of all time.
Imagine watching a game where the crowd is roaring, and then suddenly, you see a flash of movement amidst a group of players. That flash is Barry Sanders, spinning and twisting through defenders like he’s dancing. You think he’s down, buried in a pile of players, but out he comes, dashing towards the end zone for a touchdown! It’s this incredible ability to evade tackles and change direction in an instant that made him a unique force on the field.
Standing at just 5 feet 8 inches and weighing about 200 pounds, Sanders defied the odds. Despite being smaller than many of his opponents, he became known for his remarkable speed and agility. He led the NFL in rushing yards four times and scored a remarkable number of touchdowns during his career.
Barry was drafted by the Detroit Lions in 1989 and made an immediate impact by winning the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award in his very first season. In 1991, he helped the Lions achieve their first postseason win in decades, solidifying his status as a key player. His impressive career peaked in 1997 when he rushed for over 2,000 yards in a single season and was co-awarded the MVP title, sharing the honor with quarterback Brett Favre.

For years, I dreamed of being part of a sports magazine. I admired their logos, articles, and photos. While working on the https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/entertainment-podcasting-sports--2720817 podcast, I wanted to create a logo that stood out. I envisioned something big, bold, and in red and white. I crafted the E and P first, but the S was tricky and took me an entire day. I decided to wait until I was completely satisfied before sharing it.
The idea for the logo popped into my mind after Anthony Joshua’s impressive win over Jake Paul. As I created my podcast episode about him, I realized I needed a unique logo for EPS. I wanted it to reflect my creativity, so I searched for unique fonts but ultimately chose to design it by hand.
I also created fan art of Anthony Joshua because I admire his boxing style. I’ve watched him train and his speed is incredible. I aimed to capture his explosive energy and strength, using a dynamic fist pose and close-up portraits in the background for effect.

Jake Paul beat Legendary Mike Tyson by unanimous decision back in November 2024, but then got absolutely dominated and knocked out by Anthony Joshua in the sixth round on December 19, 2025. Anthony Joshua, the heavyweight champion with all the muscles and skills, beats Jake Paul.
Now, let’s take a moment to appreciate Mike Tyson. He’s a name that brings back memories of thunderous punches and an intimidating presence in the ring. When you think of Tyson, you think of a man who could take on giants. So when I hear that Jake Paul somehow beat him, I can’t help but wonder.
I was glad to see Tyson back in the ring. The man is a legend, and legends shouldn’t lose to newcomers, no matter how much they can throw a punch.
Anthony Joshua, on the other hand, is a perfect example of skill and athleticism in heavyweight boxing. With a professional record of 29 wins and 4 losses in 33 fights, he is known for his explosive power and technical prowess. Joshua has proven time and again that he is a force to be reckoned with in the ring, or should I say not to be reckoned with? His brutal knockout of Jake Paul not only underscores his enduring status as a former two-time unified heavyweight champion but also highlights the vast difference between battle-tested fighters and viral sensations.
In a sport where legacy is built on blood, sweat, and years of training, Joshua's knockdown of Paul is a critical reminder that true greatness requires more than just viral moments—it requires the heart of a champion.
So here we are, left scratching our heads at this tangled web of fights and names. It’s a strange world we live in when every punch from a social media star Jake Paul can shake up the boxing world. But that’s boxing for you. It’s unpredictable and, sometimes, downright bizarre.
