  • Matt Brown Channels Bad Little Girl Energy

13 MAY. 2024 · We all have days when we just want to tell authority figures, the teacher, the manager at work that you’re done with them and it’s time to go home and enjoy the rest of my life, and I could quit because of all of you. Remember the “Bad Little Girl” who had enough of Linda? Well she’s all grown up now and doing ok.   Today comedian Matt Brown joins us to find out what happened to Jayla Cummings, the adorable “Bad Little Girl” who went viral with her frustrated rant over being put in time out in daycare.  Matt also weighs in on Jerry Seinfeld’s frustration with modern day television sitcoms, saying the “extreme left” is killing comedy.  Feast of Fun is made possible because of listeners like you, thank you! • How to Get into the Met Gala For Free

11 MAY. 2024 · Another Met Gala has come and gone. The annual charity fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute always draws the world’s attention as notable artists, entertainers and the wealthy elite parade in lavish and often ridiculous outfits. Despite not being in attendance this year, Lady Gaga  managed to be the top shared celebrity on the Internet for her Guggenheim Museum inspired dress. The catch? It was all done with AI, while Gaga probably stayed home nice and cozy in a bath full of bubbles and a dart board with Madonna’s face on it.  Today we take a look at all the wet and wild news stories, like Lady Gaga and Rhianna’s fake Met Gala gowns, and how Pride Celebrations this year are shrinking in New York and Chicago.  Feast of Fun is made possible because of listeners like you, thank you! • Ménage à How Many? - Tristan Taormino

25 ABR. 2024 · It’s Lesbian Visibillity week, where we take a look at some of the most wonderful women who have shaped Feast of Fun over the course of 20 years.  Just like no two people are alike, the relationships we develop in our lives will also be incredibly unique.  Before open relationships became more acceptable in LGBTQ+ circles, sex-positive writer Tristan Taormino was helping pave the way for people to expand their minds to new kinds of relationships. We spoke to Tristan in 2008 about her new book “Opening Up: A Guide to Creating and Sustaining Open Relationships” where she said a big factor in fufilling relationships was for people to defnine monogamy on their own terms, and that the best relationships complement each other instead of trying to meet each other halfway in everything.
Please enjoy this encore presentation of “Ménage à How Many?” with Tristan Taormino as part of our celebration of Lesbian Visibility Week and the design I made that became the modern lesbian pride flag.  FEATURED BOOK: 📘 Tristan Taormino - Opening Up: A Guide to Creating and Sustaining Open Relationships: Amazon: https://amzn.to/49RkFgG

  • The Legendary Gaye Adegbalola

23 ABR. 2024 · It’s Lesbian Visibility week, where we take a look at some of the most wonderful women who have shaped Feast of Fun over the course of 20 years. One of my all time favorite musicians is blues singer Gaye Adegbalola. We first met Gaye back in 2005 at the Out Music Awards where she wowed the crowd with her audacious song “Big Ovaries” looking absolutely stunning wearing a white tuxedo with tails that complimented her silver shock of hair and dark skin. Gaye is not your ordinary blues musician, like us she has a sharp sense of humor and passion for restorative justice. An evening with Gaye Adegbalola always proves to be filled with exciting music and a whole lot of fun. Back in 2009 we had the pleasure of having Gaye in the home studio to perform several of her iconic songs, she was in Chicago for a concert at the Old Town School of Folk Music where she and her musical collaborators Ann Rabson and Andra Faye in Saffire performed together one last time. Please enjoy this encore presentation of “The Legendary Gaye Adegbalola” as part of our celebration of Lesbian Visibility Week and the design I made that became the modern lesbian pride flag. Enjoy!
