On this week's show, Jaymee and I talk about their upcoming Bowl for Kids Sake bowling event, which helps raise money to support the organization. She also shares that BBBS of Washington County is in need of a new roof for their building in West Bend.

24 ENE. 2022 · If you've ever stopped for coffee at Dunn Brothers Coffee in West Bend, there's little doubt you've met the charming and always friendly Al Jung! Al is the owner of West Bend's Dunn Brothers franchise, and he always goes the extra mile to greet his customers with a smile.
Outside of the coffee shop, Al is very involved with the West Bend community. From helping youth organizations to participating in events like the West Bend Winter Warm Up, Al believes helping others makes his home community a better place to live and own a business.

17 ENE. 2022 · Hello friends! While it might be the middle of winter, there are still a ton of great things happening in the West Bend and Washington County area.
This week, Jess Wildes, West Bend's Communications and Economic Development Director, joins me to talk about the West Bend Winter Warm Up happening in downtown West Bend Saturday and Sunday, January 22 and 23. The event features more than 50 ice sculptures, specials at downtown businesses and restaurants, the Hugh Jass Fat Tire bike race at Regner Park, and a luminary walk at Lac Lawrann Conservancy. It's going to be a great time, and Jess tells us all about it.

And this week, Jamie Ludovic, Washington County's Chief Community Development Officer, joins me to talk about all of the great sledding options in the county. On this week's show, Pete talks all about his running streak, how it got started, what his personal rules are for the streak, and even what kinds of shoes he prefers. 29 NOV. 2021 · Take a stroll through the lights this holiday season at Enchantment in the Park in West Bend's Regner Park. The event goes on Black Friday through Christmas Eve. This year, they have a 60-foot LED Christmas tree! It's amazing.
Lori Yahr, Enchantment's executive director joins me to talk about what goes into putting the displays together every year—from coming up with new ideas to getting the displays installed.

Their clinic provides health and dental services to those unable to otherwise afford it with a focus on keeping individuals out of ER rooms if possible. Associate Director Melanie Gonring joins me this week talk about what they do at their office!
