24 DIC. 2022 · The West Catholic Girls Basketball team is off to a 7-0 start of the 2022-2023 season, fresh off a 61-54 win over Division 1 powerhouse Rockford in the Cornerstone University Holiday Basketball Tournament. The championship game was played on Thursday, Dec. 22. West Catholic head coach Jill VanderEnde was a guest on the Sports Project Radio Show on Saturday, Dec. 24. The host is Emma C, a senior who will be the social media leader for the boys basketball season this winter. She also was the student section cheer captain of the 2022 football team. On this episode, Emma wraps up the football season with running back and co-captain Timmy Kloska, who celebrated with his team and football community by winning the Division 6 state championship on Nov. 25 at Ford Field. Wednesday: Girls Golf played their 5th Jamboree where they shot a 196 as a team (placing them 5th this time) Nikki Pelak leads the way for the Falcons shooting an avg. of 45.5 Boys Soccer came back after the loss on Monday with a win against Fruitport 1-0.
