We get a lot of questions and comments about WHY Moms don't speak up, when they are feeling down. "Speak up, when you feel down" is an international shout out from PSI (Postpartum Support International) and many other groups and individuals advocating for awareness of postpartum depression and maternal mental wellness and yet many moms simply suffer in silence. And so we went on a deep dive to bring you answers to just a few of the primary reasons why many moms do not speak up as well as they should.

Her voice is heard at the introduction of our podcasts and she has been a long time business owner of AddVoyces Digital Productions and she's a community advocate here in Maryland as well as in Florida where she now resides. Gail has been diagnosed with an aggressive stage 4 cancer.

11 OCT. 2022 · Today, we are grateful to have with us, Kyleigh Wegener, who is an advocate for maternal wellness, a mother, a wife, and a fighter for laws and legislation that support maternal mental health.
Kyleigh holds a B.A. in Public Relations and Image Management, and we at FOZA have the good fortune to have her as a volunteer and an online communication amplifier for our organization!
She is just returning from the 2022 Mom Congress Convention that was held in our nation’s capital Sept 18th through the 20th. She’s bubbling over with news from the event agenda. She will share her own personal experience with PPD, her breakthrough and her illuminating visit to network with Mom Congress members and other influential leaders on Capitol Hill.

TINY TOWN CA offers recovery and restoration for women and children who are without shelter, with a vision to empower the unhoused women and children of Los Angeles and beyond and give them their humanity back by keeping them rich in resources and providing a TINY TOWN CA community resort. This isn't just transitional housing, this is transformational housing! The offices are located Llano, CA 93544.
April is a loving wife and mother of seven, and she’s expecting a new baby in October of this year. In addition to being the president of TINY TOWN CA, she’s also the social media manager for MyWayGaming, that’s a fundraising initiative for non-profits, charities, and social causes and to top it off, she is an affiliate with MyDailyChoice Wellness and Nutrition. It’s not news that many of us spend an unhealthy amount of time consuming the content of some social media platforms, however, for the perinatal and postpartum mom, the time spent “scrolling” may expose them to a negative/toxic environment. We encourage sustaining confidence and self-esteem in everyone, especially those who may be feeling any uncertainties. Self-care is critical. Let us encourage safe places and ways to uplift all mothers, fathers and family members.
