It powers our personal vehicles, freight trucks, train, and ships and even our large passenger jets. Because of this it's extremely valuable! So much so that oil is being extracted from the ground on every continent except Antarctica. In this episode, we run through the geography of oil production, how oil became a staple fuel, and what "peak oil" even means anymore.
