Contrary to our beliefs, that lies can go unnoticeable on CVs, lies on a CV is considered to be ‘CV fraud’, and a crime that can be punishable with large fines, or even a prison sentence! Unfortunately, youth crime is on the up, with the number of children in custody in England and Wales expected to double by 2024. Most children and parents do not know the age at which a child can get a criminal record for wrong-doing, and also how long a criminal record remains on someone’s file.
