13 MAY. 2021 · I had a lot of trouble titling this episode. Here's the thing, just cuz you like something doesn't make you a fan of it, and I'm not trying to gatekeep here, but you degrade a fandom when you dilute the meaning of the word fan. Real fans of Parks and rec are not just now realizing that tick tocks use of "Don't be suspicious" comes from that show. Other people might just now be realizing it, but fans of that show recognized it when they heard it! If you say "potatoes" around a Tolkien fan, They will immediately think of samwise gamgee, regardless of the context in which you are speaking about said potatoes! Why? Because they're a fan. Just like Parks and Rec fans know "don't be suspicious".

Yesterday, something egregious happened. And I'm very confused about it specific part of it: Why the heck weren't the police more violent?
I don't want violence to be their default, but when they get attacked ,they have every right to fight back. And I think that if they have done that differently than they did, then yesterday would have been much less of a problem.

The experience isn't just the phone call, but the thing that led to the phone call too puts a bad taste in my mouth.

31 OCT. 2020 · As an adult, do our jobs regularly expect us to continue working from home after hours, on weekends, and during vacations just to keep our jobs and get paid nothing extra? Children get seriously penalized, and sometimes fail classes for not doing their homework. Not for not knowing something, but for not spending personal time on school work.
I forgot to touch on in the episode, maybe one day I'll touch on this topic again, but what about kids that have a hard time because of their home life getting homework done? How is that fair? How is it fair to penalize someone for not having a supportive and conducive home life? Those kids shouldn't fail the class, the education system is failing them.

I sure hope not.
Imo, Twitter should not be censoring the New York Post news about Hunter Biden. But, Twitter didn't do anything illegal. And it would be wrong, in even more ways, for the government to take control of the situation like is being suggested by many in the Republican party (politicians and voters alike).
