9 ABR. 2025 · For women and girls who live in medically underserved communities, Planned Parenthood of Indiana has launched an app to allow for virtual visits. My guest is Rebecca Gibron, CEO of Planned Parenthood's largest geographic affiliate, serving Great Northwest, Alaska, Hawai'i, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky and Washington. More than 100,000 patients use their services at 33 health centers.

13 MAR. 2025 · Jack had a lot to live for. He'd just moved from Cincinnati to Baltimore to work after college and begin his adult life. He was highly accomplished. National Honor Society. National Merit Scholar. Moeller High School football player 4 years. Finished Top 10 in his class. Awarded a college scholarship to USC (University of South Carolina).
He had a lot to live for. A month after he settled into his place in Baltimore, he and a friend shared a recreational drug both must've thought was harmless. He didn't do drugs. He wasn't suicidal. Yet that one pill, poisoned with fentanyl, took BOTH of their lives.
Today you'll hear from Jack's Dad, Tom Quehl. He and his wife deeply grieved, then decided no one should have to endure that. They started the Jack Quehl Foundation, dedicated to teaching young people the very real, deadly dangers that disguise themselves in drugs that appear "harmless" or "prescription."

Emergency rooms and urgent cares are packed these days, with flu, covid, RSV, etc. So choosing to use the app when you need to see a doctor but it's not an EMERGENCY, is the fastest and safest way to have your child evaluated. The $48 fee pays for your visit, and if you need to be referred to urgent care or ER, that fee is refunded.
Video visits are meant to evaluate minor injuries and illnesses. If your child has a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the emergency room immediately.
Open to anyone in Ohio, Kentucky or Indiana.

27 FEB. 2025 · Wrapping up Black History Month, my guest is Dr. Yvette "Diva" Williams. When her twins' father left her to raise them alone, telling her she was nothing but a "sorry welfare mother."
This was 1993.
Instead of buckling, Yvette used her good upbringing and values from her parents, matched them with her voice talent, earned advanced college degrees, played on the radio for a while, wrote and published a book, became a bodybuilder and launched a musical career, with four albums of original music in her catalog, and new music out now.
Yvette explains where her "Diva" distinction comes from, and her passion for civil and human rights.
