11 SEP. 2024 · Chris Naughton and Nick Wallwork of English atmospheric black metallers, Winterfylleth, make their long overdue debut on Into The Necrosphere this week. On the eve of releasing their career-defining new album, “The Imperious Horizon”, we discuss its genesis, the band’s past and its future. We also chop it up over Alien Romulus, the UK metal scene in the early 2000s and much more.

Our discussion spanned all of his various eras, his decision to return to the stage after a lengthy hiatus. We speak about the realities of growing older as a musician and Mortiis reveals why he almost gave up on music altogether.
