But what about shared death experiences?In this episode, I sit down with Reverend Dr. Scott Taylor, president of the Expanded Awareness Institute and a researcher and guide in near-death and shared death experiences. Scott has spent decades exploring the nonphysical universe and helping others learn to access expanded states of consciousness.Scott's journey began with an extraordinary experience at the bedside of a seven-year-old boy named Nolan. As Nolan died, Scott experienced Nolan's mother, who had died just six days earlier, coming to meet him. Scott joined them as they moved into the light, while at the same time remaining fully conscious and present in the hospital room. Fifteen years later, another person who had been in the room that day independently described an almost identical experience.We talk about what shared death experiences can teach us about consciousness, the loving nature of the universe, and what happens when we leave our physical bodies. We also explore Scott's work helping people intentionally access expanded states of consciousness, connect with loved ones and guides, and experience the nonphysical universe without having to nearly die to get there.Key takeaways from this episode:
- A near-death experience happens when you leave your own physical body and return. In a shared death experience, you witness or even participate in someone else's transition.

- We don't have to wait for a near-death or shared death experience to explore the nonphysical universe. Scott teaches people how to intentionally enter expanded states of consciousness and explore these realms for themselves.
- Outside the physical world, there is no linear time. Scott believes our other lifetimes are happening simultaneously and that their wisdom is available to us now.
- Intuition has a different energy signature than the thinking mind. The more we listen to it and trust it, the stronger that connection becomes.
- These abilities aren't something we need to learn from scratch. As Scott says, spiritual exploration is about remembering what we already know.
Shared death experiences show us that consciousness persists after we die, and offer a glimpse of what lies beyond the physical realm.

In this episode, I sit down with Suzanne Ross, an author, speaker, and event producer whose gift is bringing spiritual community together. Suzanne has built a life around following her calling, from her first book launch to her equinox retreats in Sedona and now San Diego, and I've had the joy of attending one of her events myself. We talk about what it feels like to be genuinely compelled toward your purpose, when the guidance, the gifts, and the ability to act all seem to arrive at once. Suzanne shares the mountaintop moment of surrender that changed the course of her life, why she checks in with her guides before saying yes so she doesn't chase the shiny object, and how being multifaceted stops feeling scattered once you realize everything is connected. In this episode, I sit down with Daniel Branco, a Harvard-trained neurologist and neuroscientist and author of Spirit Duality: Spiritual Initiation for Rational People. Daniel and I share a similar origin story: we both set out to understand consciousness by studying the brain, and we both eventually left that path when we realized we might be looking in the wrong place. We explore why the idea that matter is fundamental is exactly that—an assumption, not a scientific discovery—and what happens when we build our understanding of ourselves around the belief that we are finite beings who cease to exist when we die. Daniel makes the case for holding our beliefs loosely, as working assumptions rather than ultimate truths. We also talk about the limits of what science can tell us about our inner experience. Science can measure what happens in the brain when we feel pain, for example, but it can't capture what pain actually feels like. We explore the possibility that the brain functions more like a filter, narrowing our experience rather than creating it, what Daniel experienced during his own near-death experience, and why quieting the mind may open the door to everything beyond it. 11 AGO. 2026 · When you already know it all works out, life stops being something to survive and becomes something to enjoy. In this episode, I share a small experience that turned into a big reminder. I've been a die-hard Detroit Pistons fan since childhood. Since moving to the West Coast, though, the games often air while I'm still working, so I've started watching them later on replay, already knowing the final score. It completely changed how I experienced the game, and it got me thinking about how differently we'd all move through life if we trusted, deep down, that everything is always working out for us. I get into why knowing the ending didn't ruin the game. Instead, it freed me to enjoy the artistry, the comebacks, even the cliffhanger moments, without the pit-in-your-stomach anxiety. And I share what the guides had to say about the difference between how our soul experiences life and how our human self does. Your soul is in it for the ride, delighting in the whole game, while the human part is the one clutching the outcome. More and more people are having unexpected spiritual experiences: a sudden rush of energy, an overwhelming sense of love, or a profound knowing that seems to come out of nowhere. Often, they wonder if they're going crazy. In this episode, I sit down with Corrine Lebrun, TEDx speaker, author, and host of the Wild Divine Bliss podcast, to explore kundalini, the life force energy behind these awakenings, and what it really means to experience a kundalini awakening. We talk about what's happening during these experiences, why they can feel blissful one day and overwhelming the next, and how to navigate them with greater understanding and trust. We also explore why the goal isn't to chase extraordinary spiritual experiences or escape everyday life, but to integrate these awakenings into a grounded, embodied, and deeply human way of being. One was a mom whose daughter was waiting on a college decision and already leaning toward the safer choice. The other was a business owner weighing an offer to sell. Neither needed a list of action steps. What they needed was a gentle nudge to recognize what they truly wanted and realize it was within their reach. A week later, the daughter got into her dream school, and the buyer came back with a significantly higher offer. That's all it took. In this episode, I sit back down with astrologer Kathy Rose — host of the Rose Astrology YouTube channel and my personal go-to for making sense of what the cosmos is up to. Kathy has been doing astrological consultations for 42 years, and she has a rare gift for keeping the work grounded, practical, and free of jargon. We talk about why imposter syndrome is showing up so loudly for women right now — the astrological weight behind it, the social conditioning under it, and what Saturn and Neptune in Aries are actually inviting us to do about it. Kathy explains what she calls spiritual self-sufficiency, why the antidote to doubt isn't more accomplishments but internal congruence, and how habit change (not wound-hunting) is often the more useful frame. In this episode, I sit down for an intuitive reading with my guest June, and the conversation that unfolds holds something for everyone. June came in asking about his mission and purpose, and right away I saw an image: a train barreling down the tracks at full speed, with him running up and down the cars trying to keep every piece moving. He's built something remarkable, a heart-centered community of thousands, alongside several other businesses, and underneath it all is a question about where to put his energy and what to let go of. His guides met him with a clear message: the momentum is his own intention at work, so he doesn't have to keep running to catch up with what he's created. We get into the difference between the two kinds of service, giving until there's nothing left versus living your own light and letting it draw others in, and the deeper work of learning that his worth was never something he had to earn by doing for everyone else. 7 JUL. 2026 · We live in a world that prizes doing over being—go, go, go, do, do, do—and rewards the people who never seem to stop. So when your own rhythm asks for rest, it's easy to feel like something's wrong with you. But the constant rushing the world encourages can actually keep you from the very thing that matters most: being present enough to hear your own guidance and follow your flow. I recorded this episode after a day spent almost entirely on my lounge chair, reading a romance novel and watching the gray whales migrate along the coast. I'd woken up exhausted, with a whole free day ahead of me, and I kept thinking I should get up and hike, do yoga, work on my book. My body had other ideas, and so I let myself simply rest. It was exactly what I needed, and it got me thinking about pace, how some of us are built for go, go, go, and some of us need a lot more downtime to just be. For those of us who are highly sensitive and intuitive, that slower rhythm isn't laziness; it's how we take in, process, and hold space for everything we're feeling. It's often the very place where our clearest guidance and most inspired action begin. In this episode, we explore: •Why so many of us feel we have to be "going, going, going," and where that conditioning comes from
•How your body tells you when you're not following your right pace (and what happens when you don't listen)
•The difference between restlessness that can't be still and a slower pace that's genuinely resonant
•Why the most sensitive and intuitive among us often need more downtime to process everything we take in
•How rest, presence, and deep listening become the very place through which all inspiration flows
