21 SEP. 2020 · Let's talk about caste...
One of the fundamental tenants of Sikhi is equality - without equality there is no love, and without love there is no religion.
If the first king of kings came to abolish the system that divides us, why are we so hell-bent on identifying with such systems.
In this episode three Singh's discuss the role that we each must play in recognising that caste is NOT a Sikh way of living. If parents are insisting on caste in finding a partner, if family are insisting on socialising with those only from the same caste, or our friends are obsessed with Dosanjh's 6ft Jatt - we have got to be berry careful of what we are teaching our kids.
Identifying yourselves as a Sikh Sikh Jatt or a Sikh Tharkaan - these doesn't exist ... you are either a Sikh; or you are a Jatt/Tharkaan.
We were given the names Singh and Kaur for a reason...
It's really that simple 🙏
9 SEP. 2020 · In this episode we dive into the subject of alcohol, we explore our previous experiences with it, how its prominent in Punjabi culture and how it effects our Sikhi.
.
This episode relates to how three young Singh's viewed drinking during university time, a time which can be very dangerous to many Sikhs.
.
However when keeping faith in Maharaj and by having Naam as your true "intoxication" we are able to grow and become more stable human beings.
7 SEP. 2020 · If it comes to it, how does one choose between their parents and their guru?
In the age of Kaljug, where we are SO separated from our creater, how does one take the steps towards maharaj, when our family may pose opposition.
In this episode, four Singh's discuss the importance of having absolute faith in the one eternal creator; recognising that the path towards the king of kings is one that has to be done alone. After all, Maharaj tells us that the path toards them is The path finer then a strand of hair and sharper then a blade (demonstrating just how difficult it really is).
---
Our discussion moves to how we should challenge those who believe that Sikhi should be "modernised," and what it means to a Sikh when these things are said.
As ever, please forgive us for any mistakes that have been made, as we discuss topics that are very close to our hearts. 🙏

jin gurmukh naam dhiaaeaa aae te parvan || Nanak kul udhaareh aapnaa dargeh paveeh maan
Blessed and approved is the coming into the world, of those Gurmukhs who meditate on the Name of Waheguru || O Nanak, they save their families, and they are honoured in the Court of Waheguru

31 AGO. 2020 · Until the lion is able to tell it's side of the story, the tale of the hunt will always glorify the hunter...
Disclaimer: RANT INCOMING
This episode sees three Singh's discussing why our panth has tendencies to pass judgements on each other, despite knowing less then "half of 1%" of the full story.
Many of us find pleasure in picking faults in others, spreading hearsay and rumour, and generally reaching conclusions that stray from the truth.
We wish our listeners to raise their maath above superficial conversation, to appreciate what Maharaj has provided their Gursikhs and to live in Chardi Ka La through our own actions 🙏
Masala is meant for your food - don't add it to your conversation 🥣

27 AGO. 2020 · In a world focusing on the here and now... Should WE be focusing on more?
This episode sees four Singh's discussing why we prioritise a career and our tangible bank account, over our relationship to Sikhi and our spiritual bank account.
The real focus is what define as SUCCESS. When we realise our PURPOSE here in life is to merge with the creator, our decisions are geared towards achieving the highest levels of spirituality.
Disclaimer: There is nothing wrong with having material wealth and financial success - but it should not be at the detriment of the spiritual journey.
Please forgive us, as ever, for any mistakes that have been made 🙏
23 AGO. 2020 · The only job impossible in life, is that of being a parent...
In this episode, four Singh's reflect on the last 20(ish) years of their lives, when discussing the relatively "mircha" topic of arranged marriages.
We begin by briefly discussing the kirpa of receiving the darshan of a mahapurk, before moving to discussion onto the importance of an open dialogue between parents and their children.
As ever, please forgive us for any mistakes, and comment with your reactions to this episode 🙏
20 AGO. 2020 · This episode provides some practical advice on how to view results day: seeing it as a chance to reflect on the years gone by, rather then as a means to an end.
Recognising the power of the Great Giver, puts into significance a piece of paper with a random splattering of letters - its all a matter of perspective.
We hope that you take solace in our 'Results-day Experiences' - it's worked out for each of us! (somehow)
As ever, please forgive us for any mistakes and share with those who might need to hear this.
Forever in the service of the saadh sangat 🙏
