"Itineraries to Listen To" is an innovative initiative that promotes tourism in Lake Tourist District: Lake Maggiore, Lake d’Orta, Lake Mergozzo and Ossola Valleys by offering you a series of guided journeys of discovery across the area - journeys you can listen to. A narrator will accompany you as you visit some of the most representative places of this destination, inviting you to notice the many wonderful things you can listen to, smell, touch and indeed taste along the way; encounters that can transform a simple walk into a complete, engaging and accessible sensory experience.
"Itineraries to listen to" belongs to the Interreg V A Italy-Switzerland 2014-2020 project "DESy - Digital Destination Evolution System", financed by the European Union of Regional Development.

The "Itineraries to Listen to" were enriched in 2024 by a further 4 multilingual podcasts dedicated to 4 main museums "protagonists" of the local cultural panorama, one for each area of ​​the territory (Lake Maggiore, Lake Orta, Lake Mergozzo and the Ossola Valleys). The podcasts talk about the museums, placing emphasis on the sensorial aspects of each one. This product thus represents an important inclusive tool aimed at promoting the accessibility of the Lake Tourist District museums, for an audience of visually impaired people or those with reduced mobility.
