23 MAY. 2025 · Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Hosea 10:12
Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.”
HOSEA 10:12
DEVOTION
Based on Hosea 10
This verse is a call to spiritual renewal. “Break up your fallow ground” means to soften hearts that have grown hard or indifferent.
Just as farmers prepare the soil to receive seed, we must prepare our hearts to receive God’s Word. Righteous living—sowing in obedience—leads to a harvest of mercy. But first, we must seek the Lord wholeheartedly. He promises to respond with righteousness like rain, refreshing, life-giving, and abundant. Now is the time. Revival doesn’t wait; it begins in surrendered, expectant hearts.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Lord, You are faithful to send rain when we seek You. I praise You for being the God who revives and restores hearts.
CONFESSION: Forgive me for letting my heart grow hard or distracted. I’ve let routines replace genuine pursuit. Break up the cold, dry places within me.
THANKSGIVING: Thank You for Your mercy that meets me as I turn back to You. Thank You for the promise that seeking You is never in vain.
SUPPLICATION: Father, awaken me. Help me sow in righteousness through daily obedience and love. Prepare my heart for Your Spirit’s work. Rain down Your righteousness in my life, family, and community. Let a fresh season of growth begin in me.
PRAYER
“Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.”
HOSEA 10:12
Dear Heavenly Father, I know that a person reaps what they sow. I know what I put into my faith I will receive back. I want to sow righteousness, obedience, and devotion to You. Yet sometimes, my heart is too distant, and my mind is too chaotic. Would You bring my heart close to You and reign in my wandering mind? I know my effectiveness as a Christian is dependent on my closeness to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾

22 MAY. 2025 · Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Matthew 18:21-22
Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.”
MATTHEW 18:21-22
DEVOTION
Based on Matthew 18
Peter thought he was being generous by offering to forgive seven times. But Jesus radically expanded the standard: forgiveness must be limitless. We are called to forgive as God has forgiven us—freely, repeatedly, and completely. Holding onto offense only chains us to bitterness, but forgiveness releases both the offender and our own hearts. This doesn’t mean ignoring wrongs, but choosing mercy over revenge.
Jesus isn’t asking for a number—He’s asking for a heart posture. Forgiveness is not weakness; powerful obedience reflects the Gospel itself.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Lord, You are rich in mercy and quick to forgive. I worship You for offering complete and undeserved grace to all who come.
CONFESSION: I admit I hold onto grudges and find it hard to forgive when hurt. Cleanse my heart of resentment and pride.
THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the countless times You’ve forgiven me. Thank You for showing me a better way of mercy, freedom, and peace.
SUPPLICATION: Jesus, give me a heart that forgives freely and often. Help me remember that forgiveness isn’t excusing sin but entrusting justice to You. Teach me to release others from debt as You’ve released me. Fill me with compassion and the strength to love again.
PRAYER
“Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.”
MATTHEW 18:21-22
Dear Lord, There is no limit to Your love. There are no boundaries to Your mercy. Even though I was once Your enemy, You pursued me and forgave me. Even now, I find myself in awe of the forgiveness You give me. In light of Your unconditional love and unending forgiveness, I pray that You would help me forgive others. Expand the horizons of my mercy, and empower me with grace. May my heart grow larger with every moment I spend with You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.🙏🏾

21 MAY. 2025 · Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 John 15:5
I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.”
JOHN 15:5
DEVOTION
Based on John 15
Jesus clarifies that our strength, growth, and fruitfulness come from abiding in Him. A branch can’t survive apart from the vine, nor can we thrive spiritually without a daily connection to Christ. Abiding isn’t a one-time decision; it’s a lifestyle of dependence, intimacy, and trust. We bear fruit—love, peace, patience—not by striving, but by staying rooted in Him.
When we disconnect through neglect or pride, we wither. But when we remain in His presence through prayer and obedience, His life flows through us. The secret to fruitfulness is staying close to the Source.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Jesus, You are the True Vine. God I worship You as the One who gives life, strength, and purpose to all who abide in You.
CONFESSION: Forgive me for the times I’ve tried to live in my strength. I confess my independence often leads to spiritual dryness.
THANKSGIVING: Thank You for being so near and faithful. Thank You for sustaining me and producing fruit in me that I could never grow on my own.
SUPPLICATION: Lord, teach me to remain in You daily. Help me stay connected through prayer, Scripture, and obedience. Let Your Spirit flow through every area of my life so I may bear much fruit—fruit that glorifies You and blesses others.
PRAYER
“I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.”
JOHN 15:5
Dear Lord, You are the source of all life and energy. You alone have the power to sustain us through all seasons of life. We are humbled to receive such support and guidance from You, Lord. May we always remember that Your Spirit is the source of our strength and the foundation of our faith. We, like branches, are dependent on the vine we draw life from – and that is You. We ask for more energy every day to serve You with all of our hearts, minds, and souls. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾

19 MAY. 2025 · Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Colossians 3:12
Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering...”
COLOSSIANS 3:12
DEVOTION
Based on Colossians 3
This verse calls us to intentionally “put on” the character of Christ. We are God’s chosen, holy, and loved—not because of our efforts but His grace. And because of that identity, we’re called to live differently.
Mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience aren’t just ideals—they are spiritual garments we must choose daily. These traits don’t come naturally, but they do come through the Spirit. As we clothe ourselves in these virtues, we reflect Jesus to the world and build relationships that honor Him.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Father, You are merciful, kind, and full of patience. I worship You for covering me with grace I did not earn.
CONFESSION: I often “wear” frustration, pride, or impatience. Forgive me for not reflecting Your heart in my daily interactions.
THANKSGIVING: Thank You for choosing me, for loving me fully, and for inviting me to walk in Your character. Thank You for the Spirit who empowers transformation.
SUPPLICATION: Lord, help me to put on mercy when I feel wronged, kindness when I feel rushed, humility when I want recognition, gentleness when I’m tested, and patience when things feel slow. Let every interaction reflect Your love.
PRAYER
“Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering...”
COLOSSIANS 3:12
Dear Lord Jesus, You were the ultimate example of meekness. When You walked on earth, You held power, but You used that power to build instead of destroy. We pray for the same humble Spirit among husbands and wives. As a couple, they hold power and influence over each other. May they use that power and influence to build one another up instead of tear them down. In Your name, we pray, Amen. 🙏🏾

18 MAY. 2025 · Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Proverbs 12:4
“A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.”
PROVERBS 12:4
DEVOTION
Based on Proverbs 12
This verse contrasts two kinds of influence a wife can have—one that uplifts and honors, and one that tears down. A virtuous woman, full of strength, wisdom, and character, is a crown—a visible symbol of blessing and honor.
Her presence enriches and strengthens her home. But the opposite brings hidden pain and emotional decay. This isn’t about perfection, but about choosing daily to build up rather than break down. God calls women to be encouragers, wise builders of their homes, and sources of life through grace-filled words and actions.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Lord, You are the giver of wisdom and dignity. I praise You for shaping a character that brings life and honor to those around us.
CONFESSION: Forgive me for the times I’ve spoken harshly or acted carelessly, causing harm instead of building up.
THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the gift of virtuous influence—the ability to bless, uplift, and lead with quiet strength.
SUPPLICATION: Father, form in me the heart of a virtuous woman. Teach me to speak life, to build my home with wisdom, and to walk in dignity. Let my life be a crown—not for pride, but to bring glory to You and blessing to others.
PRAYER
“A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.”
PROVERBS 12:4
Dear Lord, Today we pray for partnerships to be cultivated like well-groomed gardens. May every marriage reflect the divine and beautiful partnership between the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We pray specifically for the wives today, that they would place virtue and righteousness above any external quality, thus becoming the crown of their households. We pray against any lies of culture that would seek to draw their hearts away from the truth. Protect, provide, and guide these marriages, Lord Jesus. In Your name, we pray, Amen. 🙏🏾

17 MAY. 2025 · Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 1 Peter 3:7
Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.”
1 PETER 3:7
DEVOTION
Based on 1 Peter 3
This verse calls husbands to live with understanding and honor toward their wives. “According to knowledge” means being sensitive, considerate, and spiritually attentive. To honor is to uplift and value.
The phrase “weaker vessel” isn’t demeaning—it reflects a call to gentleness, not superiority. Marriage is a spiritual partnership, and when one partner is neglected, it disrupts the relationship and our connection with God. God takes honor seriously. Loving, respectful, grace-filled leadership creates unity and strengthens both marriage and spiritual growth.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Lord, You are full of compassion and honor. You elevate relationships with purpose, grace, and beauty.
CONFESSION: Forgive me for treating others with carelessness or frustration. Forgive me for neglecting understanding and honor in my relationships.
THANKSGIVING: Thank You for giving us the grace of life together, for a marriage that reflects unity and spiritual growth. Thank You for showing us how to love well.
SUPPLICATION: Father, help me dwell with others in understanding, especially those closest to me. Teach me to lead with tenderness, speak with wisdom, and honor with sincerity. Let nothing in my heart hinder my prayers or my love. Make my relationships a testimony to Your grace.
PRAYER
“Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.”
1 PETER 3:7
Dear Lord, We know You take the treatment of women very seriously, so much so that You hinder the prayers of those who are harsh to their wives. We pray that You would give every husband a gentle touch and understanding heart, so they might be a shining example of Your love. Give them the wisdom and strength to carry humility and power hand-and-hand. We pray for anyone caught in a cycle of harshness or abuse. We pray for healing, intervention, and restoration. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾

16 MAY. 2025 · Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Ephesians 5:25
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it”
EPHESIANS 5:25
DEVOTION
Based on Ephesians 5
Husbands are called to a high standard of love—the same self-giving, sacrificial love Christ showed the Church. This isn’t about dominance or mere affection; it’s about daily choosing to serve, protect, and cherish.
Christ’s love was unconditional and costly, yet full of grace and truth. This verse paints a picture of leadership through sacrifice. A husband’s love should lead his wife closer to God and reflect Christ’s devotion. It’s a daily invitation to lay down selfishness and prioritize love that builds, heals, and honors.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Jesus, I praise You for loving the Church so deeply and sacrificially. Your love transforms, purifies, and protects.
CONFESSION: Forgive me for loving in incomplete or selfish ways. I confess that I often lead with pride or distance instead of humility and care.
THANKSGIVING: Thank You for Your example of servant-hearted love, the gift of marriage, and the calling to love as You do.
SUPPLICATION: Lord, teach me to love like You. Help me lay down pride, impatience, or indifference. Let my love point others to You, especially within my closest relationships. Make me a vessel of grace, leadership, and spiritual strength that reflects Your heart.
PRAYER
“Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it”
EPHESIANS 5:25
Dear Lord Jesus, You modeled perfect sacrifice on the cross. You displayed the greatest act of love by laying down Your life and humbling Yourself toward the point of death. We pray for this same posture in all husbands out there. We pray that they would have the same humble heart as You, Lord. May every husband lay down their own ego, time, energy, and life for the sake of their bride, just as You did. Give them the fortitude and strength to humbly serve their wives as You served us. Give them the wisdom to cultivate their wives’ hearts like gardens, with the same tender love and care that You show us. In Jesus name, Amen. 🙏🏾

15 MAY. 2025 · Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Ephesians 5:22-23
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.”
EPHESIANS 5:22-23
DEVOTION
Based on Ephesians 5
This passage reflects God’s design for order and love within marriage. Submission here is not about control, but about trust and respect, mirroring the church’s relationship with Christ.
It’s a calling to mutual sacrifice—wives are called to honor, and husbands to lead in love. Both roles are anchored in humility and service. When lived out with God at the center, this design becomes a beautiful reflection of unity, grace, and spiritual partnership. God’s order isn’t restrictive—it’s protective, and it brings harmony and strength to the marriage bond.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Lord, You are the head of the Church and the model of sacrificial leadership and loving submission. I honor Your perfect design.
CONFESSION: Forgive me for misunderstanding or resisting Your order. Whether through fear or pride, I’ve missed the heart of mutual service in relationships
THANKSGIVING: Thank You for creating roles within marriage that reflect Your love and leadership. Thank You for showing us how to walk in humility and grace.
SUPPLICATION: Father, help me trust Your wisdom in relationships. Teach me to honor, respect, and serve in ways that build unity. Strengthen marriages to reflect Your love, where both husband and wife walk in love, humility, and purpose.
PRAYER
“Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.”
EPHESIANS 5:22-23
Dear Lord Jesus, You modeled perfect submission on the cross. You gave Yourself over to the will of the Father, and accomplished great things as a result. Teach us to submit to You first and foremost, as Your church, that we may share in Your victory. We also pray for those godly marriages seeking to reflect Your character. Grant everyone mutual submission, respect, and honor for each other as onto You. Empower wives to prop up their husbands, even when they don’t seem worthy of it at the time. Guide husbands to love and nurture their wives, even when they’d prefer to be harsh or neglecting. In all things, have Your way among us! Humble and guide us, Lord Jesus. In Your name, we pray, Amen. 🙏🏾

14 MAY. 2025 · Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Amos 3:3
Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”
AMOS 3:3
DEVOTION
Based on Amos 3
Unity is essential for walking closely with someone. This verse highlights the power of agreement, not just in opinion, but in heart, purpose, and direction. A lasting connection requires alignment in friendship, marriage, or ministry.
It doesn’t mean we must be identical, but we must share common values and vision. God invites us to walk in step with Him, which means yielding to His ways and letting go of what leads us astray. True fellowship is born from mutual submission, love, and understanding. Without agreement, forward movement stalls.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Lord, I praise You for walking with me in grace and truth. You are steady and faithful and always invite me to deeper alignment with You.
CONFESSION: Forgive me for the times I’ve resisted walking in agreement with You or with others. I’ve let pride or stubbornness create division.
THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the people You’ve placed in my life who walk beside me with purpose and grace. Thank You for Your Spirit who guides us in unity.
SUPPLICATION: Father, teach me to walk harmoniously with others and You. Where there’s disunity, bring peace. Where there’s pride, bring humility. Help me to seek shared purpose and Christlike love in all my relationships.
PRAYER
“Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”
AMOS 3:3
Dear Lord, Walking in agreement with the same vision is not an easy task. Even for those that are married, there are competing desires and opinions. We pray for our own relationships, marriages, and friendships; we pray that You would unify us under You. May Your vision for us bind us together in one accord. May we walk hand and hand with each other, holding one another up on the long journey that is life. Strengthen and humble us, Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾

14 MAY. 2025 · Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Genesis 2:24
Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”
GENESIS 2:24
DEVOTION
Based on Genesis 2
This verse speaks to the sacred unity of marriage. God designed it not as a contract but as a covenant—two lives becoming one. Leaving and cleaving are about forming a new foundation, rooted in love, loyalty, and shared purpose.
Oneness doesn’t mean losing identity; it means growing together under God’s guidance. In marriage, we reflect the intimacy and faithfulness of God’s love for His people. This kind of union takes humility, grace, and commitment. Whether you’re married or preparing, God’s design points us toward sacrificial love and lasting connection.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Lord, I praise You as the Creator of marriage, the One who unites hearts and purposes for Your glory.
CONFESSION: Forgive me for times I’ve misunderstood or neglected Your design, for being selfish or distant in relationships You’ve called me to honor.
THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the gift of covenant love—for relationships built not just on emotion but also on Your truth. Thank You for the beauty of oneness in Your plan.
SUPPLICATION: Father, strengthen my commitment to love selflessly and cling to what honors You. Whether in marriage or preparation, teach me to build relationships on grace, truth, and unity. Let every relationship I enter reflect Your faithfulness and draw others to You.
PRAYER
“Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”
GENESIS 2:24
Dear Heavenly Father, You have created marriage to be a beautiful reflection of Your love. The oneness between husband and wife is sacred, mysterious, and precious in Your sight. We pray for all marriages in need of Your unifying Spirit. For those couples feeling disjointed and distant, remind them of the magnificent union marriage is meant to be. Unify them under Your love, and galvanize them through Your word. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾
