Live Irish Myths #3: Scáthach
24 MAR. 2020 · Anthony Murphy of Mythical Ireland delves into the story of the mysterious and shadowy Scáthach, who trains Cúchulainn in combat. Scáthach's story is part of Tochmarc Emire, The Wooing of Emer, which is one of the tales of the Ulster Cycle and is linked to Táin Bó Cuailnge. Live Irish Myths #2: Lugh
24 MAR. 2020 · Today, I'm continuing to read from Charles Squire, about the Tuatha Dé Danann. This broadcast features the story of the coming of Lugh, and the Fate of the Children of Tuireann. It was broadcast live on the Mythical Ireland Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/mythicalirel...). I'm hoping to make this a regular broadcast. In a bid to keep us all distracted from the coronavirus scare, and in an effort to stem the boredom for a lot of people who are not at work, I came up with the idea of doing a live story-telling or myth-reading broadcast. -
