We want you to get to know your injector before meeting them in person because your face is your story, and you want to put your trust in someone who knows how to tell it right. The more you can learn about who your injector is before you meet them, the better that first meeting will be.
When you head into an important appointment more informed and better educated, you are able to have a richer, more specific conversation about the procedures and treatments you’re interested in. There’s no substitute for an in-person appointment, but we hope this comes close.
Are you an aesthetic injector or do you know one? Book your free 30 minute recording session here.

7 OCT. 2025 · Since founding Westside Aesthetics in Los Angeles, Dr. Alexander Rivkin has earned a reputation as a pioneer in non-surgical aesthetics. Originally trained in ENT, he was drawn to the possibilities of injectables early in his career and has since become a leading authority on advanced non-surgical procedures.
Patients know him best for his signature treatment, the non-surgical rhinoplasty, which has become a trusted alternative for reshaping or even correcting surgical results without another operation.
What makes him stand out, though, isn’t just innovation. It’s his honesty, approachable style, and focus on making every visit feel comfortable and stress-free.
At Westside Aesthetics, the vibe is warm and welcoming (therapy dogs included). His philosophy is simple: real expertise, straight talk, and treatments designed to help patients feel understood, supported, and at ease.

28 AGO. 2025 · Julie’s path to aesthetics began after a move to Georgia and a shift from regenerative medicine. She quickly fell in love with the field, drawn to the blend of science, artistry, and patient connection. Her approach centers on natural-looking results and comprehensive treatment plans that keep patients coming back.
After starting as an injector at another med spa, Julie teamed up with her best friend, Dr. Amy Hubert, to bring a garage-based setup to life. Julie pitched the idea to turn it into a real business—and The Beauty Barn was born. With Amy as Medical Director and Julie running the rest, they grew the practice out of a small racquetball barn, fueled by community support and word of mouth.
As an Allergan Medical Institute trainer, Julie is passionate about mentorship and education. She believes in collaboration over competition and happily trains injectors—even those in nearby med spas—knowing that supporting the industry helps everyone grow.

22 ABR. 2025 · As an aesthetic nurse injector at MD Beauty Lab, Brittany Nelson enhances confidence with precision and artistry. As a post-op nurse at Portland Plastic Surgery Group, she’s a calming presence, guiding patients through recovery with compassion and care.
Her path to aesthetics started in a hospital room—but not as a nurse. At 16, Brittany was hospitalized for two weeks, and the kindness of the nurses who cared for her left a lasting impression. She wanted to be there for people the way they were there for her.
She began her nursing career in labor and delivery, but eventually transitioned into aesthetics, blending her clinical background with her passion for creativity. Outside of work, Brittany is a painter, and she brings that same artistic eye to every injection, balancing science and artistry to help her patients feel like the best version of themselves.
One of her favorite parts of the job? Education. When patients come in not knowing the difference between Botox and filler, she breaks it down, sets realistic expectations, and builds trust from the start.

21 ABR. 2025 · The moment Thai Becker saw how patients reacted to their results, she fell in love with aesthetics. She always knew she wanted a career where she could help people feel good about themselves, and now, her patients feel more like friends, chatting with her about their day while she helps them look and feel their best.
What sets Thai apart isn’t just her eye for aesthetics but the personal connections she builds. Her patients trust her because she takes the time to understand them—not just their cosmetic goals, but who they are beyond the treatment chair.
Her journey started in the hospital as a pediatric nurse, but deep down, she craved a career that let her explore her creativity. She had been interested in aesthetics since nursing school, so when an opportunity opened at Portland Plastic Surgery Group, she jumped at the chance to become an injector.
For Thai, anti-aging treatments aren’t just about looking better—they’re about understanding why changes happen and taking control of the aging process. Her goal is to help people age gracefully and confidently, on their own terms.
