7 ABR. 2023 · The idea of entitlement is pervasive in our society. Many people believe that they are owed certain things, whether it be respect, love, or material possessions. However, the reality is that nobody owes you anything. This concept of unwarranted obligation can be a difficult one to accept, as it goes against the narrative that we are often taught from a young age. The truth is that we are all responsible for our own lives and well-being, and expecting others to fulfill our desires and needs can lead to disappointment and resentment.
In this episode, I share the concept of unwarranted obligation. I talk about why it’s so weird when friends don’t fit in anymore and why everybody should be okay with the lack of culture. I also talk about being accountable and responsible for your actions and the things that you can do to save yourself. Tune in to learn more about this and other exciting topics!
