Episode 1: Dr Jean Carter - National Director of Adventist Schools Australia
12 JUN. 2024 · Our first guest on the My Avondale Experience podcast is Dr Jean Carter. She attended Avondale in the early 1980s so that she could become a primary school teacher.
Flash-forward a few years and Jean is now the National Director of the Adventist school system in Australia.
In her story, Jean emphasises the crucial role other people had in making her journey happen, including the support of her local church and generous sponsors.
Today, Jean continues this practise of "paying it forward" by sponsoring several students in her network in need of support.
