28 ABR. 2025 · Released in March, 1972, The Partridge Family Shopping Bag continued to prove that The Partridge Family could keep delivering the goods, with hit singles “One of Those Nights (Yes Love)” and “Am I Losing You.”
This album is a true LP, telling a story of life with all the glorious ups and heartbreaking downs. The whole gang is at their best with the vocal stylings of David Cassidy and the best backings ever by Shirley Jones and the Ron Hicklin singers. The best of the Wrecking Crew are on display, as is the all-star team of writers including Tony Romeo, Wes Farrell, Boyce & Hart, Cashman & West, David Cassidy, and so many more.
Join me as I share my extensive Shopping Bag music collection and trivia tidbits. We’ll also examine the elaborate packaging and artwork of this unique (and forward-thinking) album. Plus, we’ll go to the turntable and listen to snippets of each song.

We take a break from My Partridge Family Collection for this special episode, as we examine the unexpected turn of events at the California Music Hall of Fame induction ceremony of David Cassidy in April, 2024.
While the CMHOF has since issued an apology via their Facebook page, the damage was done and could have been avoided if the person inducting David had been properly vetted. Instead, David Cassidy fans came from near and far, anticipating a tribute to a beloved icon, only to be left disheartened and outraged by the disrespect of the speech.
While this event is done and gone, I felt a need to rebroadcast this special episode on the podcast version of My Partridge Family Collection.
Let’s honor David's contributions to music and entertainment and celebrate the joy and inspiration he continues to bring to fans worldwide. Together, let's make sure that David's legacy shines bright, undiminished by the negativity of one speech.

9 MAR. 2025 · It’s Music Appreciation class and today’s lesson is Tony Romeo 101 with special guest, award-winning songwriter Ken Wank!
Ken is a Tony Romeo aficionado who was inspired to write songs when hearing the music of The Partridge Family while studying to become a chiropractor. Now that’s a story!
Ken drops by to tell more stories, share a few unbelievable items from his collection, read us an email he received from David Cassidy, and we’ll even play a few of his songs. Plus, we’ll discuss a few of our favorite Tony Romeo songs from Ken’s unique perspective.
Ken was also featured in Louise Poynton’s incredible book “Cherish” and appeared on an episode of “The David Cassidy Connections” podcast.
There won’t be a test after, but you’ll definitely learn some cool things about the music of Tony Romeo from a musician/songwriter none other than Ken Wank!

28 FEB. 2025 · If you’re a 70’s kid, you probably remember what it was like on a wintery day when you couldn’t go outside and there was nothing to do but watch bowling or I Love Lucy reruns.
But for Partridge Family fans, there was always something fun because SO MANY toys were produced–especially in the early 70’s. I’m sitting by my window watching the rain come down, I’m reminiscing about some of my old rainy day faves and hope they spark a memory or two with you, including:
🧩 David Cassidy 500-Piece Jigsaw Puzzle: What’s better than putting together a big ol’ puzzle of David Cassidy’s beautiful face on a rainy day? Nothing… and that’s just what we’ll do. Really!!
