Food for Groundlings is partnering with Play on Words to create an immersive (and safe!) audio production of Hamlet! This isn't just a reading- the audio drama includes music, sound effects, and high-quality sound to transport you to the court of Elsinore from the comfort of your home. This production of Hamlet is dedicated to Brian Kapustik who passed away on December 27, 2022. -

Upon meeting Rose, Ray is nicknamed “Little Prince” and they become fast friends. Through interactive songs, games, and activities, the “Little Prince” learns about the different folks who inhabit the planets he visits. This production is inspired by “Le Petit Prince” by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Produced in collaboration with Gemini Theater Company. -

During an afternoon bath, Julie Marvis is caught in a case of mistaken identity when a young man starts a conversation through the bathroom window, unable to see who he is talking to. -

13 The Cave of the Green Light - 1st Place Winner POYW
30 OCT. 2021 · ***For the best audio experience, we recommend using headphones during the performance.*** The Cave of the Green Light by Blake Pierson is the 1st place winner of the Play On YOUR Words Playwriting Contest. After Dr. Balser and his surveying team of undergraduate students are reported missing in a cave, a rescue team is sent to find them in the unmapped territory. Through radio transmissions, we hear the rescue team, Wagner and Benson, relay what they see to their commander above ground. Following the professor and his team’s trail leads the rescue team miles below ground into a vast cavernous labyrinth. Once they find one of Dr. Basler’s students, Wagner and Benson begin to suspect that they’re in the depths of a cave that was never meant to be visited.
