12 OCT. 2020 · The Netflix original movie "Hubie Halloween" (2020) is a family/comedy/horror film about Hubie Dubois, a figure of mockery for kids and adults who is devoted to his hometown of Salem and its Halloween celebration. But when something goes bump in the night this year, it's up to Hubie to save Halloween. Directed by Steven Brill and written by Adam Sandler & Tim Herlihy, it stars Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Julie Bowen, Ray Liotta, Steve Buscemi, Rob Schneider, and has cameos of many other Sandler regulars. Tune in as we talk the plot, Hubie's character, Adam Sandler movie homages & classic horror homages that make their way into this film, and finally wonder whether or not "Hubie Halloween" is worth the watch or is just another disappointing Sandler and crew movie. But did you know that it's based on Stephen King's 1973 short story "Trucks"?
