3 MAY. 2024 · Matthew 9:9-13, we see here the calling of Matthew as a disciple. We also see Jesus teaching an important lesson. We are called to repentance, meaning we are called to ask forgiveness of our sins, then turn and walk in a different way than before. Many times, we seek forgiveness without leaving our sins behind. Is there a change in your life and how you live it compared to your life before Christ?

2 MAY. 2024 · Matthew 8:23-27, in these verses, we see Jesus and the disciples in a boat when a great storm arises and threatens to sink the ship. The disciples, out of fear, woke Jesus. He rebuked the storm and everything was calm. You may be going through a storm right now, and it may seem that your boat is about to sink. But, Jesus is right there, give your fears to Him.

1 MAY. 2024 · Matthew 3:1-2, 5-11, These verses introduce who we know as John the Baptist. He was the forerunner to Jesus, who preached repentance, who baptized Jesus. We can learn a lot from him, some of which we discover. In this episode, I present 3 things about John’s life that we should imitate.

29 ABR. 2024 · Mark 2:1-2 we see Jesus spending time at a house, and the news of his location spread through town, and the house was packed full with people wanting to see Jesus. What if Jesus showed up at a church this Sunday? Would we recognize Him, would we put down our phones long enough to see the LORD?

26 ABR. 2024 · Mark 2:1-12, we see the story of a crippled man whose friends brought him to be healed by Jesus. Because of a huge crowd, they could not get to Jesus, but that did not deter his friends. Listen to this episode and see what they did to get their friend to Jesus for healing. Also discover the type of friend we need and need to be.

24 ABR. 2024 · Today, I ask the question Was There a Fishing 101 class? Let me explain. We’re talking about our lives before and after Christ. Taking off the old life (before) and putting on the new (after). There is no middle ground. Too often, today, we want to plug into a church using our strengths and comfort zones. That is not the way it should be. I look at Peter, and see how he changed once he got his faith in Jesus restored. I haven’t seen anywhere where Peter taught a Fishing 101 class and threw in a few minutes about Jesus. No! We see him preach powerful sermons that moved people to action.

23 ABR. 2024 · Acts 8:9-25 we read the story of Simon the Sorcerer. He got saved and baptized, then tried to purchase the gift of God, the Holy Spirit, so he could give out the Holy Spirit. He came from a life of magic and sorcery, and many people felt he had power from God. Because of his new found faith, he quickly discovered that his old life cannot coexist with his new life in Christ.

22 ABR. 2024 · Psalm 126:1-2, this Psalm gives us some tips to help you get your praise on. When was the last time you really praised God? Even more, when was the last time you told others about the good things that God is doing in your life? Why not find someone today to tell about the things God is doing for you.

19 ABR. 2024 · Selected Verses, in this episode, I focus on reasons why we don’t tell others about Jesus. In John 14:12, Jesus declares that we will do the works He did, and greater works than those. By discovering what the will of God is, we see the works that Jesus wants us to do, and we see how we need to start doing those works.

18 ABR. 2024 · Romans 8:26-27, if you are like me, sometimes I just don’t know how to pray. I don’t know what to pray for. But, as usual, we have good news in the Bible. Listen and discover what to do when you don’t know what to pray.
