14 SEP. 2021 · A long one - mostly about gliding (la motte du caire, Varese), with a few days of paragliding here and there (Vercofly to Italy, southern French Alps).
26 AGO. 2021 · The morning of vercofly I talk about the last few days and my thoughts on competing. Published the next day (I followed several leading vercofly athletes yesterday but it was cancelled due to accidents, so today I flew to Italy, downwind - more on that another time!)
23 AGO. 2021 · Arriving to the World Cup Superfinal in style, meeting some of the world's best pilots, then back to modus operandi - vol biv through the high mountains to Italy.
13 AGO. 2021 · I recorded this last night, today looks good so hopefully will arrive in Disentis (I did, posting this with wi-fi!) after a really good "down winder", with some exciting moments as usual...
10 AGO. 2021 · The first days of a vol biv from Haute Provence to Disentis (hopefully) remind me of the advantage of gliding over paragliding - a wider weather envelope! Like the first day with Jean Francois where winds were 20kt and thermals were chopped to bits with a fairly low cloud base but we happily flew for hours, always in glide of the airfield.
30 JUL. 2021 · Yes I got there, and there was some good flying, but I'm feeling more lazy by the day! A day of weak climbs with cloud base below the ridge even in the evening and it took it out of me.
18 JUL. 2021 · The last week, a vol biv trip in fairly average weather. I didn't get a chance to mention how mad the Triglav turn point was, I'm so happy I managed to tag it by air in the 2017 Red Bull X-Alps, it's like you're surrounded by massive limestone walls, there's only the official launch, and the winds definitely aren't helpful!
8 JUL. 2021 · Staying at Casa de Spike, the guest house of the polish xalps pilot, coming here after the party. Thoughts on the 2021 edition, my ankle, and perhaps trying some gliding (while storms approach outside)
