The Shot & A Beer Podcast is the evolution of an Instagram Live Show formulated by Maniac Malloy in his parents dining room at the onset of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Maniac compiled a potpourri of guest personalities to build intrigue in his show and ultimately it was a success straight out of the gates.
His guests included the likes of Playboy Playmates, accomplished musicians, famous comedians, professional athletes, and the occasional local exotic dancer. What started as a hobby quickly grew into something more as a weekly following ensued.

The two discuss his departure from WIP, his humble beginnings working in the boiler room as well as his biggest career influences. The convo touches on Aj Brown and Hurts trouble in paradise as well as a the revelation of a prank call The Maniac made to Jon's show over a decade ago. Don't miss this one. 7 FEB. 2024 · Maniac invites his friend Buster from Q102 on to the program. The two discuss the story of how Buster got into broadcasting and his road to Philadelphia. Buster's experience cheering on his beloved hometown Detroit Lions this season. The two touch on everything about the Super Bowl besides the game itself, Wrestlemania coming to Philadelphia and Malloy's lack of wrestling knowledge. Most importantly though, Buster explains a Detroit delicacy - Coney Dogs.
