To inspire others to take the leap and go after their dreams whether it’s while working a full time job or simply leaving the corporate 9 to 5 behind...and today...I have the pleasure of interviewing someone who did just that. Not only did she leave, she also interviewed 50 others who did the same thing whether it was in the form of simply becoming a freelancer, consultant, starting a brand new business, or going in a different direction such as working in the non profit sector.
Anna Lundberg is the founder of One Step Outside, where she helps people around the world build businesses and create a lifestyle that allows them an unimagined sense of freedom, flexibility and fulfillment. She built her professional career in beauty and luxury marketing, working with big brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, Hugo Boss and Burberry. Samantha is a business coach and the host of the Badass Mother Podcast. What does it all really mean? Can you be one and not the other? I consideder myself to be a small business owner but also self employed and an entrepreneur. Does the label make a different? Ultimately, the title doesn’t matter as long as you are happy with the path that you are on. To me, all of these are people who are on their own journey and can make their own rules like today’s guest- Shante’ Martin, a self employed accountant, who wanted to have the balance between motherhood and her career.
