8 OCT. 2026 · With the movie "I Play Rocky" imminent for release in the next month, and with me, Dr "Coach Frank," being such a HUGE Rocky fanatic, it came to the attention of my producer, Frank Sardella, that we'd never told MY story. So he came up with the idea of interviewing me and telling my story of how I went from aspirations of being an athlete, playing ball since I was three, through injury, recovery and championship, to predicting the future risk of injury vs. being able to bring my secret weapon as an athlete (i.e., chiropractic) to masses of athletes from weekend warrior to pro, from soccer mom to CrossFit and yoga enthusiast.I looked ahead to the life I wanted and realized a couple of decades' career as an athlete would fade, but a career as a chiropractor could establish a legacy of fit, injury-free and accomplished athletes by the thousands. Even if their playing field was a cubicle and office chair or a daily stroller walk or run in the park. Now it's time to share MY story, and I'm sharing it with you, right here, after all these years, decades in practice, and over a hundred episodes in!Are you in? Because here it is right now. Tune in!

7 OCT. 2026 · Join me, Dr. "Coach" Frank Maghella, with my guest today, a long-time patient who played his last play ever at his Homecoming football game against his school's rival team. A play ending in paralysis ultimately wound up in a foundation that helps others recover from injury. Listen to my interview with the most inspirational Micah McLendon to hear the story of what turned out to be the last defensive tackle he would ever make and how he went from paralysis and immediate surgery, through rehabilitative therapies to starting his own foundation, which is now helping others not only recover, but even help uninjured athletes achieve their goals. Hear this inspiring story right from the man who started it all by rising from and out of the ashes. A true story that tugged at my heartstrings, having suffered injuries in high school playing football and choosing a career as a doctor of chiropractic over playing ball in school and professionally. Micah's story really rekindles my purpose to provide that too. Tune in now to hear Micah's story and get inspired!
