Sparked by an unfortunate comment on social media, this episode casts a swift spotlight on conquering civil rights by talking about the Suffragettes and the Stonewall riots, and ends with a reading of a beautiful poem by Adrienne Rich - What kinds of times are these (1995).

British writer Charles Dickens, in his novel "Hard Times" has a lot to say about education - but also the environment it took place in. XD) which can be useful for you to practice if you think you may be asked to read out loud during your exam.
