The king was appointed by God’s decree (Ps 2:5–6, 2Sam 5:1–10, Jn 18:37).

Main idea: Worship is more than celebration, it is obedience.
God is worthy of praise and obedience (Ps. 24:1–2).
We must continually seek, trust, and obey God (Ps. 24:3–6; 2 Chr. 15-16).
