18 ENE. 2025 · This week we continue our study of Urantia Paper 12, The Universe of Universes, with a reading of Section 7: The Part and the Whole. This section delves into the intricate relationship between the individual parts and the entirety of the universe. It emphasizes that while each part of the universe is unique and significant, it is also an integral component of the greater whole. The section discusses the interconnectedness of all things, highlighting that the universe operates as a cohesive unit where each part contributes to the overall harmony and function. It also touches on the concept of COSMIC CITIZENSHIP, suggesting that individuals have roles and responsibilities within the grand scheme of the universe, and can contribute to its ongoing evolution and perfection. Some key points of this amazing section include: Interdependence: Every entity, from the smallest particle to the grandest celestial body, is interdependent. This interconnectedness ensures the stability and harmony of the cosmos. Unity and Diversity: The universe thrives on a balance between unity and diversity. While there is a unified purpose and direction, the diversity of individual parts contributes to the richness and complexity of the whole. Cosmic Citizenship: All freewill beings are encouraged to recognize their role as cosmic citizens. This awareness fosters a sense of responsibility and cooperation, contributing to the overall progress and well-being of the universe. Purpose and Function: Each part has a specific purpose and function that contributes to the greater plan. Understanding one's role within this grand design can lead to a more fulfilling and meaningful existence. The Divine Plan: The existence of a divine plan, orchestrated by higher intelligences, ensures that all parts work together harmoniously towards the ultimate goal of universal perfection. 4 ENE. 2025 · This week we will again be studying Urantia Paper 12: The Universe of Universe & Section 6. Universal Overcontrol. This section discussesand explains that the universe is nonstatic. It is constantly in motion and change. Stability in the universe is not achieved through inertia or stagnation but rather through balanced energies, cooperative minds, coordinated morontias, spirit overcontrol, and personality unification. Balanced Energies: The universe maintains stability through the equilibrium of various forms of energy. Cooperative Minds: Harmony and cooperation among intelligent beings contribute to the overall stability. Coordinated Morontias: Morontia is a term designating a vast level intervening between the material and the spiritual, a combination of spirit and mind working together in harmony plays a crucial role. Spirit Overcontrol: The influence of spirit and higher spiritual forces helps maintain order. Personality Unification: The unification of individual personalities into a cohesive whole is essential for stability. The section emphasizes that stability is directly proportional to divinity, meaning the more aligned the universe is with divine principles, the more stable it becomes! Consider this statement: 12:6.8.Individuals have their guardians of destiny; planets, systems, constellations, universes, and superuniverses each have their respective rulers who labor for the good of their domains. Havona and even the grand universe are watched over by those intrusted with such high responsibilities. But who fosters and cares for the fundamental needs of the master universe as a whole, from Paradise to the fourth and outermost space level? 28 DIC. 2024 · This week we will study Urantia Paper 12, Section 5: Space and Time. This section explores the intricate relationship between space and time and delves into the complex and profound nature of both. It highlights their relative and interconnected aspects, and how they influence the experiences of different orders of beings in the universe. Space is described as a condition of motion and is not an absolute reality. It is a relative phenomenon that exists in relation to the material universe. We read last week that space is not empty; it is filled with force-energy and is the arena for material and spiritual activities. The concept of space is intertwined with the presence of the Universal Absolute, which permeates all space and provides a unifying presence. The Universal Absolute is a complex concept that ties together the physical, intellectual, and spiritual domains of creation under one infinite mind. Time is a sequence of events and is perceived differently depending on the level of existence. For finite beings, time is linear and sequential. It is a measure of motion and change, and it is relative to the observer's position and velocity. In the spiritual realm, time is less significant, and higher beings experience time in a more unified and less fragmented manner. Space and time are interrelated and cannot be entirely separated. They form a continuum that is essential for the functioning of the universe. The perception of space and time varies among different orders of beings, with higher spiritual beings having a more integrated understanding of the two. Finite beings experience reality within the constraints of space and time, which shapes their understanding and growth. The journey of finite beings involves navigating through space and time, gaining experiences, and moving towards a greater understanding of the Infinite. 21 DIC. 2024 · This week we will try again to air our episode on Urantia Paper 12, Section 4. Space and Motion. We were ready to go last week but Blogtalk had technical difficulties again. If you tried last week and were left as disappointed as we were, please try again this week as we continue our exploration of Urantia Paper 12 - The Universe of Universes. This section explores the dynamics of cosmic energy and the structure of the universe, including: Primary Revolution: All units of cosmic energy are in constant motion, revolving around the universal orbit. The universes, systems, and worlds are all moving along the endless circuits of the master universe space levels. Motion in Space: Space itself is in motion, referred to as space respiration. This primary motion is the inherent movement of space. Secondary Motion: This involves the alternate directional swings of the successive space levels. These motions are relative to the unmoving center of Havona, known as Paradise. Relative Motions: These are motions not evaluated with Paradise as a base point. They include the outward and uniform expansion of the physical creations of all pervaded space. Compensatory Movements: These movements coordinate all other motions, ensuring harmony within the universe. The section emphasizes that nothing is stationary in the master universe except the center of Havona, and it delves into the complexities of cosmic motion and its regulation. 23 NOV. 2024 · We continue with Paper 12 of The Urantia Papers, The Universe of Universes, this week with a study of §3. Universal Gravity and §4. Space and Motion. How do the various forms of universal gravity function to cohere the universe into a unified cosmos? "Is motion inherent [in the Unqualified Absolute]?" Fun question but a simpler one is How and why did the timeless/eternal, spaceless/infinite God come up with space, motion, and time as realities for his universes when it was unnecessary on Paradise? The present relationship of your sun and its associated planets, while disclosing many relative and absolute motions in space, tends to convey the impression to astronomic observers that you are comparatively stationary in space, and that the surrounding starry clusters and streams are engaged in outward flight at ever-increasing velocities as your calculations proceed outward in space. But such is not the case. You fail to recognize the present outward and uniform expansion of the physical creations of all pervaded space. Your own local creation (Nebadon) participates in this movement of universal outward expansion. The entire seven superuniverses participate in the two-billion-year cycles of space respiration along with the outer regions of the master universe. 12:4.12 (134.1) Time and space are inseparable only in the time-space creations, the seven superuniverses. Nontemporal space (space without time) theoretically exists, but the only truly nontemporal place is Paradise area. Nonspatial time (time without space) exists in mind of the Paradise level of function. ...Man’s mind is less time-bound than space-bound because of the inherent nature of mind. The confusion and hurt she experienced for 38 years in traditional Catholicism fueled a 20-year exploration of diverse spiritual paths. She was introduced to The Urantia Book by her late husband, Bruce Porter. Alongside him, she co-directed Kindred Spirits Retreat Center, a UB-based retreat center from 2006-2016 in Eugene Oregon. She is a self-described “spiritual rights activist,” a spiritual director, and a professional musician and church pianist. Last year, as a final project for her spiritual director training, she was inspired to write “A Spiritual Bill of Rights for Humanity” that lays out seven fundamental spiritual rights to protect the spiritual freedoms of all people and promote healing for those hurt by authoritarian religions. 9 NOV. 2024 · We continue with Paper 12 of The Urantia Papers, The Universe of Universes, this week with a study of §2. The Domains of The Unqualified Absolute and §3. Universal Gravity. How does the Absolute of non-deified reality actualize the universe of universes and materialize reality? How do the various forms of universal gravity function to cohere the universe into a unified cosmos? In the not-distant future, new telescopes will reveal to the wondering gaze of Urantian astronomers no less than 375 million new galaxies in the remote stretches of outer space. At the same time these more powerful telescopes will disclose that many island universes formerly believed to be in outer space are really a part of the galactic system of Orvonton. The seven superuniverses are still growing; the periphery of each is gradually expanding; new nebulae are constantly being stabilized and organized; and some of the nebulae which Urantian astronomers regard as extragalactic are actually on the fringe of Orvonton and are traveling along with us. The Uversa star students observe that the grand universe is surrounded by the ancestors of a series of starry and planetary clusters which completely encircle the present inhabited creation as concentric rings of outer universes upon universes. ... We are informed that the metamorphosis of cosmic force in these outer space levels is a function of the Paradise force organizers. We also know that these forces are ancestral to those physical energies which at present activate the grand universe. 2 NOV. 2024 · We commence Paper 12 of The Urantia Papers, The Universe of Universes, this week with a study of the universe of universes. This is a remarkable way to introduce infinity and the cosmos as an organized, even if incomplete, creation. THE immensity of the far-flung creation of the Universal Father is utterly beyond the grasp of finite imagination; the enormousness of the master universe staggers the concept of even my order of being. But the mortal mind can be taught much about the plan and arrangement of the universes; you can know something of their physical organization and marvelous administration; you may learn much about the various groups of intelligent beings who inhabit the seven superuniverses of time and the central universe of eternity. 12:0.1 (128.1) The universe of universes is not an infinite plane, a boundless cube, nor a limitless circle; it certainly has dimensions. The laws of physical organization and administration prove conclusively that the whole vast aggregation of force-energy and matter-power functions ultimately as a space unit, as an organized and co-ordinated whole. The observable behavior of the material creation constitutes evidence of a physical universe of definite limits. The final proof of both a circular and delimited universe is afforded by the, to us, well-known fact that all forms of basic energy ever swing around the curved path of the space levels of the master universe in obedience to the incessant and absolute pull of Paradise gravity. 12:1.1 (128.4) And there are those who maintain that the Infinite can never attain full expression short of infinity; and therefore do they postulate an additional and unrevealed creation beyond the fourth and outermost space level, a possible ever-expanding, never-ending universe of infinity. 12:1.16 (130.2) Please join us. http://tobtr.com/12381306
26 OCT. 2024 · This week we will FINALLY continue our reading of Urantia Paper 11, The Eternal Isle of Paradise, with a study of Section 8. Paradise Gravity, and we hope to conclude with Section 9. The Uniqueness of Paradise. The numerous forms of cosmic force, physical energy, universe power, and various materializations disclose three general, though not perfectly clear-cut, stages of response to Paradise gravity: Pregravity Stages (Force) - Gravity Stages (Energy) -Postgravity Stages (Universe Power). Space potency, originating from Paradise, is not subject to gravity but is the source of all force energy and material organization. Everything is ultimately drawn towards Paradise. Paradise is the eternal and exclusive realm at the center of all spiritual destinies. It's the center of infinity, distinct from the universal creation, and serves as the source of all energies and personalities. Originating from the Universal Father, Paradise symbolizes the nonpersonal aspect of reality, contrasting with the personal, spiritual expressions. It's not a creator or conscious entity but the absolute pattern for all creation. Ultimately, Paradise is the glorious, eternal abode and the final destination for all God-knowing mortals on their journey toward divinity and perfection. 5 OCT. 2024 · This week we continue our reading of Urantia Paper 11, The Eternal Isle of Paradise, with a study of section 7. Space Functions of Paradise. Section 7 of Paper 11 in The Urantia Book discusses the relationship between Paradise and space. Here are the key points: Paradise and Space: Paradise does not interact directly with space. Instead, it is surrounded by quiescent midspace zones that separate pervaded (universe) space from unpervaded (reservoir) space.Midspace Zones: These zones act as buffers and grow larger with distance from Paradise, eventually encompassing all space.Space Structure: The vertical cross-section of total space resembles a Maltese cross, with horizontal arms representing pervaded space and vertical arms representing unpervaded space.Nature of Space: Space is considered a bestowal from Paradise and is pervaded by the ancestral space potency of the Unqualified Absolute, extending outward from Paradise through various space levels. Studying Paradise on The Cosmic Citizen has been fantastic so far. We hope you can join us as we take another exploration into the vast and Eternal Isle of Paradise! Three weeks prior we discussed the nature and magnitude of upper and peripheral Paradise as far as the human mind can conceive.
