20 AGO. 2021 · David has been invested in bitcoin since 2012; is a general partner at Off The Chain and UTXO Management; and is an active venture investor in Kraken, BitPay, Coinbase and Protocol Labs (the creator of Filecoin), to name a few. David also founded one of the first hedge funds in the space, 402 Digital, in 2015.
In 2013, he founded BTC Inc and guides its operations as CEO today. BTC Inc is the parent company of Bitcoin Magazine, the first and longest-running source of Bitcoin news in the space. David bought the publication from Mihai Alisie and Vitalik Buterin, whom you may know as the founder of Ethereum. The company also owns the largest Bitcoin conference series in the space, with the latest installment, Bitcoin 2021, bringing 12,000 attendees to Miami, Florida to hear from the likes of Jack Dorsey, Michael Saylor, Senator Cynthia Lummis, Tony Hawk and more.

Alex is the former CEO and owner of Performance Welding, LLC. Performance is an OEM contract manufacturer of metal assemblies based in Little Chute, WI. He acquired the distressed company in September of 2012 and brought in professional management for the turnaround.
Prior to purchasing Performance, Alex was the President of INFO-PRO Mortgage Services, a privately held mortgage servicing company based in Fond du Lac, WI. Alex also spent time as the Director of Sales for a privately held real estate investment firm.
Alex, along with his wife Holly, own Kay James Design. Kay James is a graphic design business specializing in surface graphics, packaging design, and product aesthetics for consumer brands.
Alex is currently a Board Member at American National Bank - Fox Cities, a community bank with $300MM in assets. He is also a member of Tiger21 and the Wisconsin Chapter of YPO.
Alex and Holly are shareholders in several other businesses; Fleet Farm, Settlers Bancorp, American National Bancorp, and Alta Exchange Group, LLC. Together they own a commercial real estate portfolio that totals over 300,000 square feet and are also active investors in mezzanine debt and residential land developments.
Alex has a BS in Chemical Engineering and a BS in Business Administration from Michigan Technological University. Alex and Holly have two children, Annika and Isaac, and reside in Appleton, WI.

20 MAY. 2021 · Mark Parmerlee is President and CEO of Golden Tree Restaurants, which has ownership in Fireside Pies, Jalapeno Tree, Texadelphia, Heff’s Burgers, JC’s Burger House/Bar, Lola’s Handcrafted Sandwiches and Golden Chick restaurants. Mark purchased Golden Chick in 1989, later buying out his partners in 1997.
Prior to purchasing Golden Chick, Mark attended The School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University, spent time as a real estate and hospitality consultant at a large accounting firm, worked in real estate development and had a stint as an investment banker in NYC.
While Mark has experienced an array of health problems throughout his professional career, he has no intention of slowing down. Following two liver transplants in 2002 and 2004, Mark became a volunteer at Baylor Hospital, regularly visiting and speaking to patients going through the transplant process to evaluate them as viable candidates. In addition to regularly volunteering, Mark also sits on the Circle Ten Council, Boy Scouts of America’s Executive Board and is the co-founder of the Circle Ten Council Sporting Clays Tournament.
