14 ENE. 2024 · They are eight years apart and yet they are sisters. It's as clear as can be. Edie turns 13 in a month (!) and Ellie is a very proud five year old. In this episode, I catch up with them . . . I haven't seen them since August so we have lots to talk about: school, reading, the weather, and of course Vance. Buckle up for a wild ride of strong opinions (Ellie) and amazing patience (Edie). It's great fun!
10 ENE. 2024 · Isabella turns 16 in a few days and she sat down to talk to me about what's going on in her life. Since we really haven't talked since I saw her in August (except for some texts), there was a lot of ground to cover. And we did!
Isabella/Biz/Violet is LOVING school . . . .she's made some great friends and is loving her dance class. Of course, being Granddaddy, I had to ask her about the rest of her classes, and she dutifully reported in. When she told me she was taking chemistry (geez do I feel old), I told her the story of my chemistry class in high school and what I and some classmates did at the end of the year (it wasn't very nice).
We discussed what it means to turn 16 (getting her drivers license and getting a job - yeah!). When we discussed driving (she doesn't like driving near 18 wheelers on the road), I told her what happened once when I borrowed my mom's car for my paper route. The story doesn't have a happy ending.

7 ENE. 2024 · Sharlotte has just returned from a family vacation to Carlsbad Caverns, Roswell, New Mexico, and is now back in school. Listen as we discuss her family's vaction, her views on aliens, reading, her sisters, and her dog Ro Ro!

To start Season Two, we begin with an interview with the OG Lovely, Hannah! AKA "The Banana!"
Hannah takes us through what's going on with her current job AND her former one (think cleaning butts!). And she discusses her journey to get into nursing school: the tests, the costs (!), and the pace she wants to go.
And then she tugs at our hearts when talking about her family . . . you'll love this episode!
27 MAY. 2020 · This is the "real time" experience of Edie and her dad, Josh, testing various fluids to see which one creates the largest bubbles.

I talk with Hannah and Isabella about how they get along so well as sisters (or so it seems), Hannah's talks about her relationship with her mom, Isabella gives a special shout out to Aunt Kat, and both of them talk about what their two cousins who participated in the group Lovely podcast before Christmas.
