22 MAY. 2024 · Hi, I am DJ Harry...I'm the host of the mIssions Partnership Podcast. If you are like me, then you have an invested interest in the relationships that we as local churches have with our global missionary partners. This is a vital issue for the health of our churches, for the stablility of foreign missionaries, as well as the sake of the gospel. And can we all be honest...there is built in tension that often keeps missionaries from being transparent and vulnerable with their partner churches and there is a built in wall that often keeps us as pastors from building friendships and partnerships with our missionaries. That is my burden...and that is why I started this podcast. We can do better. So I am a pastor...I've been in pastoral ministry for almost 20 years I am also a missionary kid...my parents were missionaries to the military in Charleston SC and so I have a direct knowledge of the struggles and trials of deputation and the issues that often arise with supporting church relationship. ...and I have very a specific interest in this area of local church ministry. I love our missionary partners. I want our church to do better! I want to do better... My goal in this podcast is to peel back the layers of confusion, tension, or misunderstanding so that we can do better in this local church missionary partnership. Episodes will be released every other week and will highlight pastors, church leaders,  and missionaries that have a unique perspective on this topic.
