They pick apart what’s wrong with the team, and where they go from here.   Next, the guys flip over to the hardwood and chat with a friend of the show, and Associate Editor at Raptors Rapture, Mike Luciano. Mike recaps what went down in the opening round of the NBA Playoffs, and tees up some super exciting matchups in Round 2. Then, it’s time for your “Bets of the Week,” after that, we go further into the problems in Leaf land with a good friend of the show, and Host of “Hot Take Hockey” on Youtube, John Viveiros. John gets fired up about the lack of consistency of the “Core Four” in the playoffs, and what moves he would make to the roster with MLSE getting a new boss.  Lastly, in Overtime, Jacob and Brandon talk about a hilarious roast of the GOAT, Tom Brady, a gaol to watch over and over again from Toronto FC’s Federico Bernardeschi, as well the guys discuss a bit about Alek Manoah’s 1st start for the Jays since last season.

30 ABR. 2024 · Catch up on what you missed on the latest episode of  “The Swing.” Jacob and Brandon rip up the Maple Leafs on their disastrous, and pathetic 1st round series versus Boston. They guys dissect several things missing and going wrong for the Blue and White.   Next, the guys continue their Leafs therapy session with a good buddy, and Host of “Hot Take Hockey” on YouTube, John Viveiros. John explains the “Core Four” not living up to their price tag, the inability on the power play, and reacting to comments from the team to the media. Then, it’s time for your “Bets of the Week,” and we dive into the NFL Draft. The guys debrief on their respective favourite teams' selections. Also, of course, Jacob and Brandon scratch their heads on the elephant in the room and arguably the most interesting draft pick with the Falcons taking Michael Penix Jr. at Number 8 with Kirk Cousins fresh off a big deal. Lastly, in Overtime, Jacob and Brandon talk about the coolest name in the draft to be selected and their favourite Kool-aid flavour.

16 ABR. 2024 · While Brandon is taking in some Blue Jays action, Jacob is joined by Brendan Lang for the hour. They start the show by recapping Scottie Scheffler's win at The Masters, UConn's national championship win, and the Blue Jays winning their first two home series. Then, Andrew Damelin of Raptors Republic joins the show to recap a disastrous season for the Toronto Raptors, and give a little preview of the NBA playoffs. After their bets of the week, they are joined by Adam Silverstein of CBS Sports who has more on The Masters. And to wrap up the show, Jacob asks Brendan for his take on Nestor Cortes' whacky pitch from over the weekend.

9 ABR. 2024 · Catch up on what you missed on the latest episode of  “The Swing.” Jacob and Brandon give their perspective on what could be the best Men’s National Championship in history between Connecticut against Purdue. The guys give their keys to the game, and what could be the deciding factor in a matchup of two number 1 seeds, and a game featuring two teams led by 2 goliaths in UConn’s Donovan Clingan & Purdue’s, Toronto-native Zach Edey.   Next, the Steelheads end their season on a sour note by being eliminated by the Sudbury Wolves in 5 games, and here for the first time ever on the show is Digital Editor with Metroland Media Group, Iain Colpitts. Iain gives his opinion on what went wrong for the Steelheads, what are the positives to take out of this season for the Trout, and reminisces about personal memories about the franchise in Mississauga. Then, it’s time for your “Bets of the Week,” and after that, we welcome back the Host of “This Week in Golf,” Chris McKee ahead of the biggest tournament in golf: The Masters. Chris gives insight into who could be a huge sleeper, a top player to disappoint, and his expectations/hopes for a 5-time winner and 48-year-old, Tiger Woods. Lastly, in Overtime, Jacob and Brandon each give their pick for The Masters and provide a few words on the opening 10 games of the Blue Jays season.

26 MAR. 2024 · Catch up on what you missed on the latest episode of  “The Swing.” Jacob and Brandon cover all the big stories so far in the Men’s March Madness Tournament including their biggest upset/disappointment, plus what they’re looking for in the Sweet 16, as well as their picks for the Final Four!    Next, it’s finally time for the playoffs in the Ontario Hockey League, and we welcome back one of the members of your Steelheads broadcast crew, and one of the hosts of “Trout Talk,” Zack Bodenstein to break it all down. Zack previews up the Steelheads' opening round playoff matchup against the Sudbury Wolves, plus he goes into what will be the advantages and disadvantages in this series for the Trout. Then, it’s time for your “Bets of the Week,” and after that, we say hello to a good buddy of the show and chat all things Blue Jays baseball ahead of the new season with Baseball Writer, Chris Henderson. Chris answers questions about a possible bounce-back year for Alek Manoah, the lacklustre off-season, the starting rotation, and much much more.  Lastly, in Overtime, Jacob and Brandon give their predictions on this upcoming Jays season and give a big mention to the Canadian Men’s National Soccer Program for qualifying for the Copa America.

The guys also talk about Joey Votto going yard on his first pitch in a Jays jersey, plus the Leafs falling in a shootout to Carolina in an exciting game on Saturday night. Next, one of the members of your Steelheads broadcast crew, and one of the hosts of “Trout Talk,” Brendan Lang stops by the show. Brendan dives into this incredible recent run of form from the Trout as they fight for positioning at the top of the Eastern Conference with just 2 games left in the regular season. Brendan also weighs the best options for the Steelheads in the opening playoff round.   Then, it’s time for your “Bets of the Week” with no shortage of bets for the big NCAA Men’s College Basketball tournament. Following that we get right into that tourney and chat with Sports Projects Reporter and Editor for USA Today, Steve Berkowitz. Steve discusses what the chances are for the number 1 seeds, the toughest region, and his final four predictions. Next, Jacob and Brandon discuss some NFL news with Eagles star Centre Jason Kelce announcing his retirement, and also QB Russell Wilson being released by the Broncos. Brandon also goes into some detail about Toronto FC looking so far so good in the first 2 games of the season, and the difference John Herdman has made. Then, it’s time for your “Bets of the Week.” Following that we welcome back, Associate Editor at Raptors Rapture, Mike Luciano. Mike tells us what the focus of the rest of the Raptors season should be on and he gives his reasoning as to why they shouldn’t be tanking even if Scottie Barnes doesn’t play another game this season.
