As an Uber X Driver, I put a lot of miles on any vehicle I use for the gig. I recently purchased a new, 2023 Toyota Crown with only 10 miles on it. 5 of those miles I put on the odometer during a test drive from the dealership lot.

Before that, I put 50,000 miles onn a 2014 Toyota Camry in only 8 months. It had 58,000 miles when I bought it in March 2023. The previous owner took 9 years to hit 58,000 - it took me 8 months to hit 50,000.
I am going to share my experience with driving this very historical Toyota Crown and see how it holds up to my driving in this documentary "Toyota Crown vs Uber Driver".

° Uber drivers are NOT employees of Uber Technologies. They are self-employed, independent contractors, aka small business owner / operators. * Both riders and drivers must be clear on this fact and behave accordingly.
° Activating audiovisual recording features in the Uber app let's riders know they are being recorded & seems to have mitigated the mostly petty, false accusations and claims made by riders / passengers.
° Riders and drivers should all have access to and activate the PIN safety feature required to start the ride.
